  1. The best part of the second one is Fielder's reaction to Rickie's moonshot.
  2. The Royals signed Infante to a four year deal last offseason. There is no way he plays for the Royals next season. My guess is either the Orioles or Blue Jays on a 2yr/$11M deal. It was meant to be humorous due to all the ex Brewers now in KC. I guess it wasn't that funny.
  3. It's the right move for the team but it makes me a little sad. Rickie has always been one of my favorites. Weeks, Hardy, Hart, Fielder, Hall... all gone now. It seems like just yesterday that "the young guns" were on their way and now they've all come and gone, except for Braun. Any bets on Weeks to the Royals?
  4. I would have to guess that it/they are living under the freezer or at the very least hanging out there quite often. Under the freezer is very warm. Remember, we really can't "cool" anything. We can only move heat from where it is objectionable (inside the freezer) to where it is unobjectionable (under the freezer, where it can dissipate into atmosphere). Laying under the freezer probably feels as good to that cold-blooded varmint as laying on a warm rock in the sunlight. That's the extent of my knowledge on the subject. What you do about it, I have no clue.
  5. Baldkin, Thanks for the effort, but no joy. When set to that it, after it asks what to do and I tell it "import pictures and video" it still auto-imports to a folder with today's date as the title. It still doesn't give me the options that XP did.
  6. BF.Net hasn't failed me yet for PC help, so here I am again. When I insert the SD card from my camera into the slot on the laptop, it automatically uploads the pics to the "Pictures" library, creating a new folder with the date as the title. I dislike this very much. To get the pics where I actually want them to be, I have to cut or copy them, then create a folder in the library in which I need them to be, paste them into that folder and then go back and delete the folder that was created automatically. It's quite annoying to have to jump through all of these extra and unnecessary hoops. With XP, I was given the option to upload the pics to wherever I wanted and to title the pics and/or the destination folder as I saw fit. I liked that much better. I looked at the "auto play" settings in the Win7 Control Panel but I didn't see an option that would clearly make it work like XP did and I didn't want to just start changing settings gratuitously. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  7. I'll just leave this here.... Edit: one of you smart people will have to embed it if possible. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=802035923161382&set=vb.196554717042842&type=2&theater
  8. Lol. Makes sense. I had to re-read that about 5 times to make sure I typed that properly. Lol... Anyways, anybody that questions the Brewers right now is ridiculous. The Brewers can win any series and beat anybody. They are on pace for something like 98-99 wins. They will go on another winning streak or two and IMO this will be the Best Brewers season in franchise history. I'm expecting over 100 wins, and a 10+ games lead at the end on whose ever in second place. I've never been this confident about this team ever. I'm thinking WS in June! You do know that if the wheels fall off this thing, the rest if us will track you down and beat you, yes?
  9. I wish they wouldn't have put Tom Barrett in the video. I wish they hadn't put either one of them in the video.
  10. That's pretty good stuff. If the Rangers come to town next year I want Bernie to touch Beltre's head.
  11. And Cabrera gets in on the fun yet again... https://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video/Bq8F1wRCYAAokUI.mp4
  12. Jeebus, I love this guy.
  13. Wow. That hit me like a punch in the gut. I always admired him and I really feel for TGJ and the rest of the family.
  14. It's pronounced bur-ligh just as Casey said. The "e", being the first vowel in the second syllable, is silent.
  15. Another beauty. This has got to be the best thread ever. Me too.
  16. That one is spectacular.
  17. That was classic.
  18. This thread just gets better and better.
  19. Wow... it's been almost 3 years since I last dug up this gem. It's still hilarious.
  20. If Yuni is on a roster he will inexplicably find a way to take the field. He possesses some mysterious force that causes managers to act irrationally. It's the smile.
  21. I don't know if I read it or if it was alluded to on the TV broadcast, but Lohse did credit the "Dave Duncan voodoo" for his success.
  22. Not only will losing Votto hurt the Reds in the short term, this is the same knee he had problems with last year, he's 30 years old, and they still owe him over 200 million dollars through 2023. It turns out that Votto has a quadriceps injury as opposed to the knee. http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/05/16/report-joey-votto-likely-headed-to-the-disabled-list-with-a-knee-injury/
  23. Oh man...what I wouldn't give for Gomez to go yard first pitch and take a David Ortiz trot around the bases, all while staring at Gerritt Cole. I would rather he went yard and sprinted full speed around the bases, sliding into home in a cloud of dust.
