After watching the ejection for a second time, I missed the part where Joe West had to come in and act a fool too. Umpshow at its finest.

He was coming in and tried to make a shoe string catch a little off to the side. He missed it and ball rolled past him to deep CF. Schafer was going to go for the inside-the-park HR but was held up at 3rd after a good throw from Gomez.

So apparently the Nats are thinking of sticking with the innings limit for Strasburg. I was thinking, if a team really wanted to limit the innings of its young star pitcher (ala Strasburg), why not do it in the middle of the season? That way you can save the limited innings towards the back end/potential playoffs where you'd need the innings the most. -
