  1. Well Cappy's pitching negates the positives of last inning. Let's hope Villanueva can salvage this...
  2. Yea I remember people on this board saying we should keep Braun down in AAA. That talk has died down a little bit eh?
  3. Where was that during the HR Derby???
  4. I think we should have stayed with Counsaninohttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  5. I like it. I have always been a Jones fan and never thought the day would come when realistically we could nab him for not that much. I am still a little hazy on what it would take to get a guy like Jones. I think something along the lines of Vargas, Aquino, and a minor league IF or OF could get it done, but there may need to be a 4th player added to that deal on the Brewers side. Ultimately I would think it would be an improvement on both defense and offense, however, I can only imagine the talk on this board when he goes 1-4 with 3 K's.
  6. Yea, I kinda figured. Feel free to lock this up if need be.
  7. I live in DC so I will be there all three games. Would've liked to see Sheets pitch but oh well. Here's to the start of a sweep to lead us into the break!
  8. ESPN.com's Page 2 graded all the teams in the majors but instead of using letter grades, they compared each to a member of the '82 Brewers. As I was not alive in '82, I don't know how accurate these grades are, but they were fun to read. Link
  9. Wrap it up...I can't wait for the Brewers to leave Pittsburgh!
  10. This was a little write-up about Hall's status on Rotowire. Nothing too significant, but at least has some sort of timetable... RotoWire Update Hall left Thursday's game in the second inning after spraining his ankle. Hall was down on the ground for a while, but ended up walking off the field on his own. Consider him to be day-to-day, but it looks like he may miss at least one or two games.
  11. To anyone watching on MLB.tv. What is up with that Buc-o-sketch thing? They seem to be showing it for every player. Man is that thing annoying!
  12. Hall jumped for the homerun ball and came down on his foot funny and it looked like he rolled his ankle. I've seen the injury alot in the NBA, when people come down awkwardly after a rebound or something like that.
  13. I don't think this should be viewed as a vent, but why has PNC been such a House of Horrors for the Brewers. It is almost like clockwork that the Crew will have difficulty against the Pirates. I don't think there is any statistical way to prove either way, but emotionally it just seems like no matter how hot we enter a series in PNC, the Crew seem to stumble.
  14. I never got "walkouts." Doesn't it defeat the purpose because the fans are still paying money for the tickets to go in and sit and watch the game for three innings? If you really wanted to stick it to the owners, wouldn't a better way be to not show up from the beginning? Also, what if the Pirates score 10+ runs in those first three innings? If I were there, I think I would stick around and watch.
  15. This is unfair for the Brewers, the Cubs have NUNS in their stands!!!
  16. I thought that hanger was GONE!...I guess Billy did too. Way to get in there Billy!
  17. I guess that means Vargas against the Cubs if the Crew don't score this inning.
  18. line drive, diving play made by loretta
  19. I am seeing it with my own two eyes here on MLB.tv
  20. Ugh! Tough luck, that ball was gonna be hard to get anyway.
  21. Nice slap hit over the head of Williams. It would have been tough for Soup to lay down a bunt there with them cheating in so much
  22. JJ is really not that far behind Reyes. Granted there is a very limited time left to vote, but JJ has definitely closed the gap. Link
