  1. I am so jazzed this has made it almost a day. Clue time: Business Owner Not directly related to the Philadelphia Phillies
  2. Haha, it does kind of look like him, but no
  3. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/08b15095892d6da35a4c75722affe9e827c229a.jpg This one should be easy. I think.
  4. You would be shocked how much "old" technology is still in TV stations. CRT monitors, black and white monitors, Apple II computers, actually people who run cameras, and so on.
  5. No, it IS the best trophy in sports. Take that Lord Stanley.
  6. I think a lot of whats listed is too specific, I would have next to no interest in seeing a fierce rivalry without a horse in the race. Seeing Fenway might be a must, but I wouldn't say against the Yankees. My musts, only things I have done: -4 day weekend at the Indy 500 is a must. You must camp there, you must be there Thursday-Sunday. The race has very little to do with it, it's going camping with 100,000 other people and partying in the 16 blocks they close down the night before the race. -AA or lower minor league baseball game. Somewhere where beers are cheap, there is something fun between each inning, and there is a 50/50 raffle to buy a new tarp. Somewhere where kids scramble for foul balls because the team will buy them back. -You have to see your team, on the road, at least 250 miles from home and/or plan a full vacation around sports. -See a game at Wrigley -See a game at Lambeau -Go to every game of a 4 game series -Score a baseball game -See the Hall of Fame of your favorite sport (I have only seen Canton though) -Tailgate starting at least 4 hours before a sporting event *edit* Just realized I strayed a little away from actual "events" on some of them, but I'll leave them up
  7. http://www.pedaltavern.com/images/bgTexture.jpg Milwaukee's own Tavern Cycle! (Ok, it's really called the Pedal Tavern)
  8. It caught me a little off guard seeing "PPD" next to the Twins game on the scoreboard. I cannot find a list of PPD per year, per team, but would love one if someone knows where to find one? Why not just move the game here?? I'm pretty sure the Dodgers have the best non-indoor track record for non-postponement, maybe with only 9 or 10 total since moving to LA.
  9. Sigh. I am going to retire from this.
  10. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/67225df9318122eb63faf9c5c0f1dded150a652.jpg These never last long for me, have at it!
  11. I just read up on Bruichladdich, being an Islay single malt, I would expect it to be very very good. Terrible website though. I just tried Stranahans the other day. I had a sample from 2 bottles. One was batch 66 and the other was batch 68. They were bought in the same liquor store on the same day. Each bottle could not have tasted more different. Batch 66 was downright bad, musty, tasted like a basement. Batch 68 was much better, and is something I might considering drinking from time to time if not for the $49.99 price tag.
  12. New photo: http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/b6e25ba9958112b56f6a82cf9627464605469ba.jpg It looks like a ghost or something.
  13. Correction, UFC is free at Romines but they charge $4 for WWE. I don't see anything about boxing on the site, but it hasn't been updated in while, I would still call. One more, try Spirits in South Milwaukee.
  14. My guess would be Romines or BW3s They still show free WWE and UFC fights, so I would assume they do that same for boxing. Call ahead I would say.
  15. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs494.ash1/26990_1394139744140_1551593334_30995976_1691002_n.jpg How I spent my recent birthday. Highland Park's box spoke a good game "A uniquely smooth, balanced single malt, with a rich full flavor and a gentle smokey finish." It's a fine scotch, a little too gentle on the smokey for my preference but very good none the less. It also came with a small bottle of their 18, which I will try soon.
  16. As far as Irish, Jameson is perfectly fine and every place has it. A very easy "go to" whiskey. I will drink Paddy, Tullamore, Bushmills, or Michel Collins just as soon though. Paddy seems to be the hot new irish everyone is talking about.
  17. I'm pretty intrigued by the Stranahans Colorado Whiskey, it isn't easy to be an upstart whiskey maker. I'm not gonna be a snob and question why they don't publish how long they age it, but I would be curious since it is one of the harder hills to climb in making whiskey. I love Rehorst gin! But it is a rare day when I have it. I like Buffalo Trace a lot too. Anyone? Rye Whiskey? What is it? Hows it taste?
  18. What you got, what you like, what you drinking? I am really exploring scotch right now, and really really like rich smokey scotches like Talisker and Laphroaig. I am trying rocks vs. neat vs. a few drops of water. So far, neat is best for the rich scotches but I like Cutty or J&B on the rocks. I like bourbon too, Maker's Mark and Woodford, always neat. Beam is my favorite for mixing (I don't feel bad about mixing it). Irish whiskey, in my opinion, doesn't greatly vary brand to brand, but it's my go to for shots. Don't really dabble in canadian stuff, and I have never had a rye whiskey. I really don't understand how people like Jack Daniels, and, what bugs me (and I pointed it out elsewhere) is people who think The Knot is a whiskey. It's strong, and it's from Ireland, but it aint whiskey.
  19. I had the K and BB swapped in my signature, shame on me.
  20. I have newcomers '91 if you need it.
  21. That's good signature fodder. Walks are bit high for Ben so far, being a career 3.78 SO/BB guy.
  22. Help is needed. Septic system, rarely used toilet/sink. Starting about two weeks ago the toilet wouldn't flush well (didn't matter what was in it, could be just water). You would have to wait an hour, the level would go down, then you could flush. It has gotten much worse sense. You can get maybe 1 flush a day in, then you have to wait a full day to have it flush properly again. When it does flush right, it spits a lot of bubbles up right before the water fills back in. Also, when the sink in running, there are bubbles in the toilet as it drains. This has just started with the shower floor drain as well, which is now filling with water when you try to use sink/toilet. Also, all our screen printing materials are washed down a drain from a different room. They are all listed as biodegradable and septic safe. This never slowed the system when done in the city of Franklin's non-septic system. Help? I put a dose of Liquid Plumber gel down the shower drain thru standing water, with little to no effect. I have a bottle of CLR Septic Treatment I have not used yet.
  23. Just to be clear, Southern Comfort is not whiskey, the same goes for The Knot
