Yost really has no idea how to manage a bullpen. The Brewers haven't been winning, so Kolb hasn't been given regular work. Then on the rare occasion the Brewers have a lead in the 9th, Kolb is just so rusty.
Good ol' Wes, doing what he does best, booting an easy grounder that leads to unearned runs. Afterall, we couldn't play Branyan against a lefty, even though Pods, Overbay, and Jenkins are all playing.
With Toronto winning and the Brewers losing, the Brewers, Blue Jays, and Expos are now locked in a three-way tie for the #4 draft pick. Even us Brewer fans can scoreboard watch in September. Go Blue Jays! Go Expos!
A lot of interest in tonight's game I see. Another, uh, interesting lineup by Nedley. The Yankees/Rays will only play a single game today at 6. Also, the Pitt/South Florida game that ESPN was going to show has been postponed. ESPN has been running a crawl at the bottom of the screen saying that the Cubs/Expos or Brewers/Pirates will be on ESPN. If that's the case, I don't know what will be on ESPN2, since that is supposed to have the Cubs/Expos. I guess we'll find out at 3.
7 runs yesterday? 7 runs in 1.1 innings tonight? Where the heck has this offense been all year? So nice of Jenks and Pods to finally start hitting in September.
