  1. I saw there was flash flooding all around the stadium last night and a lot of fans were stranded. I'm coming down from the Fox Valley for today's game, anyone know how the roads are looking this morning? Will there be issues getting to the stadium and parking?
  2. A tornado warning was just issued for Milwaukee, including Am Fam. I can't ever remember an active tornado warning during a game, I'm a little surprised they're not delaying the game.
  3. I love these jerseys so much, but they badly need matching powder blue pants, the grey pants look awful.
  4. Interleague play, Brewers had one season in the AL playing the NL Central before switching leagues the next season.
  5. Joey Wiemer helping his old team by taking it to the Cubs. Currenting batting 1.000 in eight plate appearances, including a triple and two home runs.
  6. It's the 9th inning Contreras, what are you saving your challenge for?
  7. Packers signed an actual kick returner, Skyy Moore. Averaged 27.5 yards per kick return and 11.6 yards per punt return last season for the 49ers.
  8. What's nice is I normally get MLB.TV anyway because I enjoy watching as much baseball as I can, and getting the Brewers included is only $50 more which is an absolute steal.
  9. Whenever I see JSN all I can think about is that's the guy I wanted the Packers to take at #13 in 2023 and instead we got LVN.
  10. What a ridiculous stat, master choke artists
  11. So far the MNF Wild Card Game has always been a 4 vs 5 game since that allows the NFL to set the schedule for the Divisional Round on Sunday, as the result of the 4 vs 5 is the only one that wouldn't change the home teams in the next round.
  12. It changes everything, just look at field position alone. Pittsburgh took the ball over on downs at their own 3, went 31 yards and punted. If Detroit kicks the field goal, Pittsburgh gets the ball around the 35. If they go 31 yards there they kick a field goal and negate Detroit's immediately. Not to mention they likely run different plays on their own 3 vs their own 35. Every single play call is made situationally, kicking a field goal vs going for it on 4th changes the situation of every single play after it and thus every single play call is different.
  13. You can't say that because the game plays out completely different if they kick a field goal there. The butterfly effect.
  14. Willis is just so much fun to watch.
  15. JJ Watt says he wanted to come to the Packers in 2021 and was willing to take a significant hometown discount to do it.
  16. The Cubs literally introduced a powder blue jersey last season.
  17. Jerseys are perfect, I've been wanting them to go back to real powder blue forever. The fact that the pants are grey and not also powder blue is a huge miss and looks terrible.
  18. If you bought a house 20 years ago for $100k and now it's worth $300k you don't just have $200k sitting around to buy stuff with, you only get that money when you sell the house. Just because the franchise is worth that much more than when he bought it means nothing until he sells the team, that's not money available to put into payroll.
  19. 10 wins isn't a playoff guarantee. There are six teams in the North and West with 7+ wins, one of them will be left out.
  20. This would actually be very good for small market teams. The largest income discrepancy between large and small market teams are the local TV deals. The Dodgers current TV deal is over $8 billion dollars. MLB selling all of the local TV deals as one package and splitting up the profits evenly between all 30 teams would be a massive shift to evening payrolls between the large and small markets.
  21. I've watched clips of Foul Territory when Youtube pops them up in my recommeded feed. I like Kratz well enough, but I don't think I've ever seen AJ smile or laugh, he just seems miserable to be around. For baseball content I stick mostly to Jomboy Media. Both Talkin' Baseball and Baseball Today are, IMO, better than Foul Territory.
  22. Brewers announced game times for 2026. Big change is Friday games move from 7:10 to 6:40. Two exceptions are 7/24 and 8/21, which are two Friday 3:10 starts. There was one Friday 3:10 start in 2025, the day of the Alumni HR Derby. With how well that was received it's possible that's coming back and another new event could be happening too. http://mktg.mlbstatic.com/brewers/documents/schedule/printable-schedule.pdf
  23. As uneven as the Packers have played this year, they're two blocked kicks away from being 6-0
