Gotchya! Thanks for the info. If he's had those seats for that long, then he definitely should have known that Prince is younger than Rickie, JJ, and Corey
Nice seats! Ok, I know who the Doorman is, but how did he get that nickname and get his notoriety? I was pretty surprised how bad he was at the Brewers trivia questions they gave him at Summerfest.
I like this lineup for the matchup today. I think Rivera should be Parra's personal catcher. At least it would get him in there every 5 days or so and get Kendall a little rest. My prediction - Jason Kendall will weigh under 170 lbs by Oct 1
http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gifGuess I was wrong Here is the complete Brewers' lineup: 2B Ray Durham SS J.J. Hardy LF Gabe Kapler 1B Prince Fielder RF Corey Hart 3B Craig Counsell CF Mike Cameron C Jason Kendall RHP Ben Sheets
Here are the lineups: Astros CF Darin Erstad 2B Mark Loretta SS Miguel Tejada 1B Lance Berkman LF Brad Wilkerson 3B Geoff Blum RF Hunter Pence C Humberto Quintero LHP Randy Wolf Brewers 2B Ray Durham SS J.J. Hardy LF Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder RF Corey Hart 3B Bill Hall CF Mike Cameron C Jason Kendall LHP CC Sabathia
I seriously cannot believe that Counsell is starting (at 3B) again. That too! And I agree that it is hilarious that Ned determines Counsell's spot in the order by what position he is playing. Maybe it shows just how simple Ned really is.
That's hilarious that you say that because I bet on the cubs -1.5 today in hopes that it would cause them to lose. Maybe I will have to continue this practice?
I don't think anyone said anything about benching Hart for 5 games. Today would make two and I think that would suffice, although personally I wouldn't mind seeing him get another one tomorrow. And I am probably one of the biggest Weeks supporters on this site, but I guess I am the only one that has a problem with his lack of hustle yesterday. And you'd have to be blind not to see that Kendall is wearing down. Did anyone see him try to throw the ball in the Cubs series?
I guess I was taking the manager of the team at his word when he said that Hart needs a break. I would hope he has a better gauge of the situation than us. I don't think anyone that has watched Hart play over the last week could possibly argue with that logic. And can anyone really disagree with Cameron not needing to be in the line-up right now?? BTW, how many times can you ever remember me complaining about the line-up? Seriously
Weeks being in there after not hustling yesterday, Hart being in there after Ned saying that he's really struggling and needs a break of more than one day, and Kendall being in there in spite of looking like is ready to keel over any day due to exhaustion. Ned has zero control of this team, which is apparent in the fact that he starts Weeks after failing to hustle in the biggest series of the season to this point and overall playing like crap in the entire series and by letting Hart talk his way back into the line-up
