The Lake Park Bistro is by far my favorite restaurant in the city, but I don't really find it as romantic as people claim it to be. The chairs are uncomfortable, seating is cramped, and it is LOUD. However; the food is ridiculously good, they have a great wine list and the view in The Lake Room is arguably the best you'll find at any restaurant in the city. My pick would be either Sanford (Zagat's recently ranked it in the top 10 restaurants in the country. Plus it's very intimate as seating is extremely limited. Call ahead.) or Bacchus (Less French and more modern version of Lake Park Bistro. You can't possibly go wrong with a Bartalotta establishment.) Good Luck!
