    Was there any explanation as to why it took them so long to make the move? Probably not, but I'm just curious.

    Keep in mind that LaPorta was a rare college senior 1st round draft pick. He's older and more polished than your high school pick and most likely will get through the lower levels of minor league ball faster than an 18 year old. I don't think its crazy to believe he'll be around in 2009.

    The 25 year old girl at work who complains about how living with her parents is the most annoying thing in the world...I have to bite my tongue everyday because I just want to say that I'm sure they're probably quite annoyed with that situation as well.

    I went to UW-Whitewater and graduated in 2004 with a BA in Sociology. I worked at the Whitewater Police Department for a good year and a half as a Community Service Officer. I gave a lot parking tickets to college kids...sorry guys.

    What if he did get 3,000 hits? Would that automatically qualify him as a Hall of Famer? I don't think there are any guys out there with 3,000 hits that aren't in the Hall except Rose of course.

    I love the strategy, I love the traditions (ex: Sausage Race, Bernie Brewer Slide, etc. ), I love that every stadium is different (short porch, hill in center with a pole in play at Minute Maid make me happy), I love that overweight freaks like David Wells that can play into their 40s and I love that the All-Star game is during the season

    When I was at the game on Tuesday I heard a pretty good mixture of cheers and boos for Carlos Lee. I suspect a good number of the cheers were from "fans" who're convinced that he's still with the team.

    I personally don't care for BA, I think his rhythm is really strange. He likes to start and stop sentences in really funky places. Then again I wasn't much of a Sutton fan either. Anyone notice Sutton using the term "ironic" way too much and in situations that were never the definition of ironic? How ironic is that...wait...was that ironic or not?

    I've had my 360 Premium Edition since October and it hasn't frozen once. From what I've read (not just here) it sounds like I've been pretty lucky so far. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.
