  1. My favorite is the Cooper. I'm gonna need one of each of these too since I can't make the giveaway games this year. GO CREW!!!
  2. I'm living here in Whiskey Rapids and I'm VERY pumped about having a local team to watch. I went to the press conference last night and the owners and community reps are saying all of the right things. Hopefully this town will show the support to keep the team here for years to come and be successful. Now we just have to think of a name.....
  3. Bush is looking mighty good so far. Four batters=Home Run, out, Triple, Double...... Maybe six months off will bring back the sometimes good Dave Bush.
  4. Anyone????........ Man, this is just like the major league team, I can't trade Suppan either http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  5. I have an extra Suppan from today's game and I'm looking to trade it for a SGA Bratwurst from 2009 only. PM me if interested. Thanks
  6. They should've had one after he broke his nose where he had two black eyes and his face was swollen up.
  7. WOW, that is terrible baserunning by Cameron. He is pathetic on the basepaths going from second to third. Usually he tries taking third with the ball hit in front of him and gets thrown out, but today he just decided to get hit by the ball. What is he thinking!?!?!?!
  8. If it wasn't Chipper Jones batting it would have been an error.
  9. A deal has been reached. POST CLOSED.
  10. What is wrong with this team running from second to third on a ball hit IN FRONT of them!!! That is baseball 1-0-1 that I learned in Little League. Come on guys... this is the third or forth time this year.
  11. I have an extra retro Hoffman bobblehead from Sunday's game that I'm looking to trade. In return I am looking for two out of three of the following 2009 regular bobbleheads: 6/28 Jason Kendall 7/26 Bratwurst 9/20 Doug Melvin This means I trade the retro Hoffman and you trade me two out of this list. I have all other bobbleheads from other years, so I'm only looking for these few. Trade will be completed once you have your two in hand. I live in central Wisconsin so an in-person deal might be hard, but I'd be willing to travel within reason. I only have one, so first deal will be accepted. thanks! -Brian
  12. I have an album with all my stubs neatly inside with the clear corner pieces, and I cut out the box scores the next day and glue them next to the tickets. My stubs go back to the late 1980's.
  13. I met him in Beloit a few times and he was 5'10" for sure, the same height as me. Granted that was a few years ago.
  14. Anyone know where they relocated the autographed baseballs that used to be in the gift shop by TGI Fridays??? I think it was called Autograph Alley. Thanks
  15. I'm pretty sure that 50-60% of us on this board could hit an 84mph fastball down the middle of the plate from Suppan. But there's a lot of game left, so hopefully we can score 10 runs to keep us in the game.
  16. Except he's from UW-Stevens Point http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  17. I'm a Fielder fan, and have been since they drafted him. Having said that, I do think his weight is a big concern and hopefully he continues to work out to stay at a healthy weight. I am very concerned that if he keeps putting on weight he'll end up a DH in the AL before too long. There's no way any professional baseball player can maintain that much weight on his frame and stay consistent for an entire season. You can see Prince running out of gas at times (although I acknowledge he did catch on fire late in the season). I've always been impressed by his hustling around the bases, and you can tell he is giving 100% on the field and having fun.
  18. Anyone plan on going to fantasy camp this year (2009)?? If so, I was wondering if anyone received their roster of former players that will be there? I went a few years ago and it was a blast. I'm always curious to see which players they get each year. Cecil Cooper was my coach, but I wouldn't think he'd be there now that he's with the Astros.
  19. I'm pretty sure it was a bad shoulder injury. I went to Brewers Fantasy Camp in 2006 and Moose was one of the coaches. He could throw OK, but his arm motion was kind of messed up. I think I heard him talking about not being able to move his arm behind him anymore because of the injury. At the farewell banquet he and his girlfriend (or wife) were sitting at the table with me and I think he said she was a former Olympic skater. He was a great guy, quiet, but always friendly.
  20. This may seem like a stupid question, but who gets invited to Spring Training? Is it just the players on the 40 man roster or are there more? I'm sure it's not everyone in the Brewers organization, so how do they choose? Also, is training camp different than spring training? If so, who gets invited to that? Thanks everyone. Edit: Reduced punctuation. - Toby
  21. I grew up with a cat named Buckwheat who loved to sit in my parent's picure window in the sun everyday. He always laid next to a small clock my parents had for years (looked like a miniature grandfather clock) but the pendulum in the clock never moved back and forth even though it was supposed to. This cat lived to be 18 years old and was having health issues near the end. One day my parents made the decision to take him to the vet to have him put down, and when they returned home the pendulum in the clock started swinging back and forth for about 30 seconds before stopping for good. It hasn't moved since then and that was 2005. Creepy stuff!
  22. I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm selling a bunch of Brewers bobbleheads on Ebay under the name: 2000rad Auctions include Gorman Thomas Wisconsin Woodchucks bobble, Jeffrey Hammonds bobble, and many more. I will combine shipping for any bobblehead winners. I can do local pickup, but I live in Wisconsin Rapids and my next trip to Milwaukee won't be until the end of November. Low starting price on all of them. I will also be adding some autographed memorabilia in the next day or so for anyone interested. Thanks for looking.
  23. I'll jump on the wagon, if anyone has extras of the towel and DVD voucher, I'd take one. I do have some bobbles to trade. PM me if interested. Thanks a million!!!!! GO CREW!!!!!
  24. I did a mail order through Legends of the Field for the Ted Simmons signing. I paid for two cards to get signed, which came back awesome, and $10 for shipping the cards. I got them back today in a normal white envelope with a 42 cent stamp on it. Where on earth did that $10 for shipping go????
  25. Anyone?? or don't they do this anymore?
