I'm conviced augie the dog is the replay reviewer. Would it be taboo for a brewer reporter to start pushing the question of who actually is responsible for initiating replays? It's so bad I think it's really worth it to get an answer of who deserves the wrath of being just putrid. Might actually be the same person McCarthy works with...

The Rockies have the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth down by two...a little early don’t ya think? Nope...at least not on the cards winning - they may never lose again. I hope I'm wrong on what was looking like the brewers losing though!

I really want to believe this team is poised for a strong stretch run - but the eye test keeps forcing me to question that positive outlook....it's just been too hard to put together solid 15-20 game stretches since the calendar hit June to expect them to get on a big roll.

Crazy that both the dodgers and nationals look all but dead in the water this season. I still think it's much more likely for the cubs to fall back to the pack of other nl contenders than it is for them to run away and hide. The brewers will have a shot at 3 playoff spots heading into the last series of the year, IMO - the central title and both wild cards. I think the cubs and cards play each other at the end, too. Going to be a fun 5.5 weeks of baseball to follow the whole league... -
man - just get 3 more outs and get the W in what should have been a really lopsided game...

Whoever is in charge of decisions about calling for replay reviews for the Brewers really needs a different job. They are horrid.

if CC is terrified of Williams facing a lefty, why not just have Williams walk Gennett and leave him in to face Suarez? Especially when there isn't a LOOGY anywhere near the Brewers' pen right now...

There was biblical flooding in Madison yesterday I was just camping on the WI river a few weekends ago in that area, and we woke up to an hour torrential rain with high winds - we thought that sucked at the time, but at least we weren't woken up in the middle of the night by a tidal current from 10" of rain sweeping us past Prairie Du Chien!

It could happen, but where is he going to play? If Arcia is in fact heating up, you can't put him on the bench. Moose has 3B most days, Shaw gets more bench time for Schoop? Such a weird roster. Find some lefty starters and get trigger happy with pinch hit opportunities - I get that it may be tough to find room, but if his bat gets rolling it's good enough to play.
