  1. Check this out. It is even retractable and features Bernie Brewers "Chalet" and slide! http://homerderby.com/archives/1928 Feel free to move this to off-topic if it makes more sense there.

  3. I've been thinking of playing a Hardball Dynasty season on whatifsports. Anybody out there play this that would recommend or "non"-recommend it? There wouldn't be 31 of you that would consider a private league, would there be?
  4. I actually thought it was pretty funny... My favorite line was "Heck, Fielder covers a lot of ground just by standing there." I actually laughed out loud, does that make me a bad fan? Probably.... Too me the article was written just to be funny. I bet we could put together something similar about why we hate the Cubs and all of us (well most of us) would get a good kick out of that too.
  5. FSN Kansas City will also telecast the spring training game between the Royals and Brewers on Thursday, March 20 at 8:05. Those of us in the KC area get a nice spring treat!
  6. I personally wouldn't mind if the Brew takes a look at Torre if the Yankees fire him. Am I in the minority? Somebody please convince me that sticking with Yost is a better option. And yes, I do understand Torre probably wouldn't accept the job....
  7. The way the cubs are playing (very lucky combined with clutch) it wouldn't surprise me if they finish 8-3 and end at 87 wins. That would mean we'd have to win 10 of 13 to tie and 11 of 13 to win the division. I honestly think that's what it is going to take to beat the cubs. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  8. I love looking at the lineup and seeing that 1-5. It makes me smile every time. Its a fun time to be a Brewer fan. Go Crew!
  9. I would love a picture of this if anyone took one during that last series!
  10. Vargas to Royals for Joakim Soria (RHP) or Jimmy Gobble(LHP). I've been impressed with Soria this year, but Gobble is more proven and could be a nice situational lefty. The Royals obviously are looking for starters (John Thompson?). Then we can have Yo or Villy take the 5 spot and have the other as an injury replacement/ long reliever.
  11. I'm pretty sure that is actually Georgia, not Missouri.
