  1. PeaveyFury Kolb's turning things around nicely.
  2. rluzinski When he's racking up an ERA in the 1.00s, yes, Kolb is the bestter option for the 9th.
  3. Not on a road game. Turnbow's got to handle the bottom half of the inning when the Crew gets ahead. Kolb's done all right so far this year.
  4. Sharpie's doing OK. So that second inning was a little close, and he had to get four outs in the first... I'm a bit more worried about whether Sharpie will press now that Sheets is on the DL again.
  5. Sharpie gets through the 2-3-4 hitters on nine pitches. It's still a one-run game. The Crew has a chance...
  6. This team's just not firing on all cylinders. At least that means they're muddling at .500 rather than getting clobbered. It's a sign of progress, I suppose.
  7. DHonks... I can't confirm that. Seemed to be Neugebauer who had the 2001 surgery. Nothing at all about Sheets having any surgery other than his back.
  8. A Google News search is reporting nothing of that nature.
  9. Can I add my support to that notion?
  10. From MLB.com: He's had tendinitis before. So, that could be the case. Torn rotator cuff? Oh, no... please not a torn rotator cuff...
  11. Because, on the road, if the Brewers take the lead, someone has to close out the game in the bottom half of that inning.
  12. Why am I not surprised? The last time the Brewers won in LA, Jennifer Love Hewitt was attending the game. Maybe they need to get her tickets...
  13. No kidding. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif Tough enough to play the other team... but having to beat the umps, too?
  14. Nice to see Krynzel's notonly back, he's got two hits and a walk. Brady... don't look over your shoulder.
  15. should have let Weeks steal, THEN do the sac bunt.
  16. Well, using de la Rosa on consecutive days wasn't the best move. He gets another "Baby Seal", but he was set up to fail.
  17. TheBwaz Well, he shouldn't have been out there. Not with Demaria, Capellan, Kolb, and Wise as options to get to the 9th.
  18. endaround My question exactly. Capellan, Kolb, and Wise hadn't pitched last night. Any combo of two could have gotten the Crew to Turnbow.
  19. Of course, he was out there LAST night... and there were plenty of other relievers who hadn't pitched last night and were ready (Wise, Kolb...). Not the best pick from the bullpen.
  20. Well, Sharpie has his second straight quality start.
  21. Giraldo8 Well, he wasn't exactly helped this last inning by Koskie's throwing error. Sharpie had to get four outs this inning. Probably two more (Koskie's E-5 arguably botched a double-play) than he should have had to get.
