I'm sick of this pathetic defense. I wasn't buying it when it kept being said that the defense was so much improved this year. And after this awful defense displayed in Boston I hope I don't have to hear about the supposed improved defense anymore.

Actually they lead 3-1 but it is an interesting stat.

A 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was my car in high school. It was a great first car for me.

    Another baserunning issue - ugh!
  5. marquettefan13
And now a walk - should have been out of the inning - ugh!
  6. marquettefan13
Like the walk especially after Cameron was down 0-2. Come on Braun!

I'm so cynical these days about the Brewers - I just thought now they can leave the bases loaded again. Sure would be nice to get some runs here...
  8. marquettefan13
Wow - I was beginning to wonder if the Brewers were ever going to score again :-).
  9. marquettefan13
Sure looked out to me - both when I watched it live and on the replay.

    Shouse is coming in now.
  11. marquettefan13
Yeah - I was surprised to see him back out there.

I think it might be our day if Sheets gets an RBI double :-).
  13. marquettefan13
Alright - let's get at least one run here.
  14. marquettefan13
Woo hoo - nice shot Braun!
  15. marquettefan13
Why do you send Weeks there though? They need all the runs they can get.
  16. marquettefan13
Nope - still just worried about at least getting the tying run in.
  17. marquettefan13
What happened? Gameday froze on me right after Kendall's walk.
  18. marquettefan13
Please get a couple more runs here.
  19. marquettefan13
I felt the same way but on the other hand I was happy they could get at least one run out of that with how their offense has been struggling lately.
  20. marquettefan13
Two on and nobody out - please manage to get some runs out of this.

I think so - the ESPN2 broadcast on opening day in Chicago was blacked out. I wish I could watch it on ESPN though - I like listening to other broadcasters sometimes.

And another fun fact - Moyer's father-in-law is former Notre Dame basketball coach Digger Phelps.

On the radio I heard them say the panels were open and it was the first time they had the panels open this year but the roof was still closed.
  24. marquettefan13
Yeah for the K! Now let's get a run and end this game...

So with this team it's a pleasant surprise to me when they turn dp's like that although there are plays they should be making regularly.
