  1. I agree with what you're saying, but good grief all you do if comment on other people's posts. It's like all you do is sit there waiting to pounce on what somebody else says. I'll "pounce" on a troll like timeisnow whenever it is needed. He rips on other posters and players despite inumerable facts that show his conclusions are wrong. And now he is taking the classic position of claiming martydom because people call him on it. He's trolling, and if he doesn't change his behavior quickly he'll face consequences for his actions. One of my responsibilities is to keep an eye on behavior like his, and in the past I'd usually let the mods handle it. But early in the season is always taxing on them, so I'm doing my part to try and help keep people as rationale and sincere as possible. I'm sorry if you don't like my particular style, but frankly, you're not someone whom I care about whether or not they approve of how I do my job.
  2. You don't win games like that, let alone get anywhere near the playoffs. Good grief, it's April.
  3. And my numbers are about Wise are based on LIMITED LIMITED opportunities. Sorry If I stated that this guy has PROVED himself to be a QUALITY set up guy over the years. Oh yeah, HE HASNT. Over the past three seasons these are the numbers for opposing hitters vs Wise in close and late inning situations. 141AB 13R 28H 4D 1T 4HR 18RBI 14BB 2HBP 32K 9SB 0CS .199AVG .278OBP .326SLG .605OPS Funny, once again the numbers don't back up your baseless claims.
  4. I think most people are still pulling for him, but they tend to rest their hopes more on Gwynn or Fermaint at this point. I can understand the reasoning, I just don't agree with it yet.
  5. I have to admit, I'm probably overly excited about the lines Krynzel keeps putting up. I really hope he sustains it and limits the extended slumps this year.
  6. Something tells me "The Jared Fernandez Experience" will be short-lived. Yes, the sample is still small, but we also have several guys in the minors who have earned a shot. I'd rather see Adams at this point. At least he's relatively young and still has upside.
  7. Is there a difference? Well, according to the genius's here there is no difference. I recommend you watch your tone. This is an argument that has been done to death for over 5 years. You're not about to change anyone's mind in a single thread, and certainly not with your condescending attitude.
  8. whiskybadger, I highly recommend you stop with the insults.
  9. If you right click on the link you can select to have it open in a new tab or window with Firefox.
  10. Minnesota does play quite a few games in the Metrodome. In fact, I think their entire home schedule might be played indoors. If not the entire season, most of it. A few years ago only the pre-season was played at the dome, but over the past few seasons pretty much all the games have been moved there. In fact, I think only one game is scheduled to be played at Siebert Field this year.
  11. The Brewers are playing at the Dome this year as well, and since we do have a fairly large Minnesota contingent, we might want to try and have an informal get together for one of those games.
  12. No kidding, it's 35.5 MB. FYI, I have a cable-modem and the download averaged about 80 KB/S. Thanks. Hmmm, it should be a lot quicker then that. That probably took you what, 20 minutes to download? When I tried it from home it took me around 5 minutes. I'll try it from a friend's comp and see if it takes as long for them as it did for you.
  13. The file is now available for download?. Enjoy! PS - It's a fairly decent sized file, so be sure to give it a few minutes to load.
  14. Sent it to you. None of my stuff gets anywhere near the traffic Brewerfan gets, so this will be a nice test to see how much bandwidth this can deal with. If it holds up well I don't have any problem hosting other videos as we receive them.
  15. Hey Brian, I have a EZArchive account that I could give you the password to so you could upload the file. Then I can just post the link for people who want to download it.
  16. You only need to adjust one of the dimensions. It will automatically resize the pic accordingly, so that the original ratio is maintained.
  17. It's the last line from the original film.
  18. Al, there were plenty of people who liked Valentine at the time, and still do. You were hardly the only one.
  19. I'm talking about threads that you enjoy and think still have value. If they do then post in them, otherwise just ignore the ones you don't like and they will fall by the wayside. By repeatedly posting in threads you don't like or believe have no value, you are merely contributing and compounding the problem that you claim to be against.
  20. most of what all of us post is an "oppinion" an oppinion isn't right or wrong Opinions most certainly can be right or wrong. I can claim till I am blue in the face that in my opinion water isn't wet but dry, but that doesn't make my opinion any less incorrect. If your opinion doesn't follow facts, then I'm sorry to tell you this, it's wrong.
  21. do you post in the original just to "bump it up?" Based on Mass' observation here, that could be mistaken for meaningless garbage posts. Well, one could actually add content to the thread by writing out a well thoughtout post. You argument seems to act under the assumption that this is difficult for everyone.
  22. it's the fact that the SAME TOPICS surface... over... and over... and over. Start new or "better" topics. Or simply post in threads that you think have the best discussion going on, thus keeping those threads at the top of the boards. /thread
  23. Who currently is having shoulder problems. When is an injured muscle on his back a "shoulder injury" for $200 Alex.
  24. Therefore, as the director of minor league ops, Mad should be an ezBoard supporter. And should show it off like everyone else. http://images.amazon.com/images/P/0394800893.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
  25. A banner on the front page would be a nice touch. Hint, hint Patrick.
