  1. Just WOW! Can someone give me a reason why Cirillo should not be resigned for next year? I can't think of any!
  2. With no Prince or Hart, Nashville is having a hard time hanging on to that division lead and Nelson Cruz sure has cooled off after starting hot.
  3. Was able to catch some of the game including the injury to Sheets, it looked bad at first. It was clear Ben was in serious pain by the way he carried his arm as he left the field. If indeed it is a strained lat muscle, like GPieters in the injury thread, I can attest to the pain that Ben is having. It took me about a week of nothing but rest and soaking hot baths for mine to finally clear up, for the first couple of days lifting my arm was painful and a sneeze or cough caused some of the worst pain I've ever experienced, just brutal. I did notice Ben when he was on the mound kind of bend himself backwards a couple of times like he was trying to pop his back, i know that motion too well. Lets hope its no worse than mine or GPieters and Ben misses a couple of starts at most and comes back to close the season out strong. I hope Ben and management try not to rush back to early though. Like has been stated before, playing for .500 is not worth any further complications due to this injury.
  4. Did she just say that the nicknames for Hardy and Weeks is frik and frak?
  5. Did I hear right earlier when Brantley said Santos' record since the All-Star break last year is 5-20(something)? Is that right?
  6. HELMS!! I take back all my bad thoughts about you starting tonight
  7. That was not a strike!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  8. I think Eveland was a little intimidated facing Pujols and Edmonds, I would be. Nice job getting out of it, I wonder if Vic can see the signs his time is growing short with Dana there. Yes, I know there limiting Evelands innings but still! And why does Brantley keep talking about how Helling should be starting?
  9. Not so fast there homer!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  10. Brady nailed it, just right at someone, oh well!
  11. Since I live south of the mason-dixon line I get to watch my Brewershttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif A few observations: strike zone is tight, about the size of an index card. Santos does not look good at all! His breaking ball is just hanging or is plowing the dirt. The Weeks throw was wild, but I don't think he would have gotten him at first anyway. Jenkins could have made the catch but it would have been a web gem. The Helms play in the first WAS a web gem. Eveland up in the pen, I'd like to see him pitch but not if Vic is getting shelled and we have bases loaded with one out, I smell a bunt!
  12. Somebody tell me this is not going to happen! Thank you!!!!
  13. WOW, you could almost smell that was going to happenhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  14. Hoffy, ask and ye shall recieve, Phelps is up But Ned decides to leave Wise in. That was a scary looking foul ball!
  15. Agreed Fike, but up 8-2 why not give JDLR a shot when the game is "not" in question?
  16. Interesting question here, since I'm not from the Milwaukee area and just watched the Travis Tritt Braves commercial, I was wondering do they do that kinda of promo in Milwaukee. That pitch from Wise was just wicked!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif I would like to see JDLR get an inning
  17. Thats right Brian, somebody needs to be the sacrificial lamb, I heard that somewhere!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  18. Good hit Bill, Did you like how Carlos kinda tiptoed at home? Nice Sac Fly Chad!
  19. Which will Geoff do? DP or K? Place your bets! Way to take one Geoff!
  20. Sounds like a good idea to me, I wonder when was the last time Ned went off?
  21. No doubt Brian. But how do you solve that problem? By the way, does that avatar have something to do with the group Gorillaz?
  22. Julio, remind me again what your job description states. What a shame to waste such a game by Davis like this. I thought Ricky had the gas can, it's soooo nice to see him share it with Santana! Sorry, but what a way to lose a game!
  23. This looks real real bad! Good one Julio on almost throwing that one away.
  24. Is putting Helms at third suppose to be a defensive replacement?
