  1. It's a little outdated, but here's a Mike Felder interview.
  2. I agree with EDR. If you can't get it fresh, it's not worth it -- I've noticed that fresh fish never tastes "fishy." Best piece of fish I had was a Blue Marlin steak in the Abacos, Bahamas. I was told that the Blue Marlin are protected in the Bahamas, However, there was a fishing contest the week I was there. After the fish was caught and brought back in and weighed, it ended up at the local bar & grill (the only one on our little island). I've never had anything that good since.
  3. The Mossy Cade Attack
  4. I'm playing in a Diamond Legends league right now, which is based upon the old Stats, Inc. game. Not so sure I'm digging the Whatif format, though.

  6. I have a similar or maybe the same question. Does home versus road record matter here, i.e., for Brewer home games should the calculation be based upon the Brewers' Miller Park Pyth W% versus the other team's Miller Park Pyth W% (or overall road Pyth W% if Miller Park is too small of a sample) and conversely for road games? I guess, in other words, I want to know if the Brewers' probabilities change based upon the "favorable" home schedule over the remainder of the season.
  7. I was wondering if you have a Brewerfan.net business plan in place? It seems if the site is picking up a lot of momentum lately, with mentions by both the TV and radio crews, radio interviews and record numbers of posters. Now might be the time to start thinking about taking the steps to have the site sustain itself either as a not for profit or a for profit corporation. I really think, with the Brewers seemingly on the upswing, that the time is ripe to start aggressively pursuing advertisers for Brewerfan.net. I don't think it's too far fetched for Brewerfan.net to be self-sustaining in two years and profitable soon after. Additionally, incorporation will help establish Brewerfan.net's legitimacy to the world at large. Incorporation will help you obtain press pass for Brewerfan.net and other things that will increase the site's visibility and accelerate the site's ability to make a profit. It would also be nice to start generating some $$ so that the site can afford to keep people like Toby and Patrick around (as a side note -- I think that a printed Brewerfan.net draft guide could be very profitable), rather than losing them to other related sites. I understand that their may be some legal hoops to jump through with the Milwaukee Brewers... such as a licensing agreement for the name; but I'm sure that it can be worked out. Although I'm not a business lawyer and my current job does not allow me to practice law outside of my employment, I'd be more than happy to at least help steer you in the right direction if you think anything I've written makes sense. And if I've overstepped my bounds, I apologize.
  8. Now we have him where we want him. Tell him that there will be no more e-mails until Brewerfan staff members start getting some air time.
  9. Any word on why Weeks was playing SS?
  10. I see. I could have sworn Sportsline said it was a double play. Now that I go back and look, they say nothing about a double play. I might be going crazy. I apologize for the clutter.
  11. Actually, I think you are right about the reverse double play.
  12. I can't say that I'm really sure as to what happened because I'm following the game on the internet. But with bases loaded, I think that Sexson hit a ball to the infield and the runners going to third and second were forced out, while the runner on third scored. Sexson was not credited with a RBI. I think the above scenario is the reverse double play referred to in rule 10.04. If it's not, I have no idea what a reverse double play is.
  13. Flied out to left according to Sportsline.com I mean struck out swinging (I looked at the wrong inning)
  14. A run scored when Sexson hit into what appears to be a reverse double play. Pursuant to Rule 10.04(b), a player is not credited with a RBI if he hits into a fielder's choice double play or reverse double play. When a RBI is credited to a player hitting into a fielder's choice that only results in only one out, it seems awfully punitive to not credit the player with a RBI because of the extra out. Anyone know what the rationale for this is?
