  1. I finally started putting some items up on ebay with more to follow next week , I have a few game used balls that I will put up there. I am so happy that Tim Dillard got called up, He is a great young man, we have spent some time with him and he was great. I hope he does well and sticks with the Brewers.
  2. Hello old friends , For those of you who forget , I am Dana Evelands step dad and we are doing some spring cleaning around here.I will be selling some Brewer items that I collected over the years. If you do a search on Ebay for KD1996 you will find my auctions . Please check back over the next several weeks as I will be adding a lot more. Thanks to Brewer Fan for allowing me to do this I do appreciate it. Over the years I have met a few of you at Snapper games and at Milller park and still get a few emails from some of you . Hopefully we will meet again in a World Series. I hope you guys have a great season.
  3. Congrats to the Weeks As far as Kyle he is a DFE and will be attending Pierce JC in California in the fall and hopefully after a solid year he will sign before next years draft.
  4. Hello from Huntsville just a correction that was Delwyn Young not Delmon. He is a friend of ours and played aginst Dana in High School. Anyway the guys looked great tonight had a great time and we met lots of really nice people. The Joe is a very nice ballpark from a fan standpoint .Looking forward to 3 more games there .
  5. Huntsville fan we are coming out this weekend for a visit to provide a little extra cheer in the stands . Maybe they will let kyle take some BP or infield if Money is in a good mood, so I hope they win the next 6 in a row. See you there Mike
  6. Just got back from my 3 ird game . I took quite a bit of abuse tonight as the LA locals were in rare form. There were maybe 10 of us sporting the Brew Crew. Its been fun looking forward for tommorows game. Carlos Lee really puts on a show in BP he hit a few out of the stadium, also overbay had a nice run yesterday with a 3 for 3 over the wall. Mike
  7. Mass Thanks again for another great year , I can only imagine how much time you put in to this as I know how much time it saves us ..........so thank you very much take care Rizzo's and the Evelands PS Also to all the people we met up with in Beloit this year thanks for everything we had a great time .
  8. we dont need any other LHP anywayhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  9. madbad Thanks for the scouting report on Dana. Its hard enough to get a feel on how he is pitching when there is a broadcast but when there is not one to have first hand info like that is awesome. Mike
  10. biedergb The other Mike Rizzo is a scouting Director for the Arizona Diamondbacks ..... No relation although I wish there was, I have never talked to him but it came up a lot when Dana was bieng scouted. I know the local area scout for the D backs as he has some intrest in Danas brother for next years draft so maybe I will meet him.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif Mike:
  11. I watched the game again and Ben pitched better than I first thought. If they made a few plays behind him it would have been different. And I know we did not see his best he will only get better . I say give him a break first time up in front of all those dodger fans and me he did really well . Ben is for real Mike
  12. Just got back from that one ben looked a little tight but that is to be expected Im sure he will do better next time. Mike
  13. Well overall a very exciting nite from scotts first inning HR to all the excitement with the Bradley and the umps. I will be going back tonite to see Ben . The Brewers in the bull pen know how to treat fans they were very good to all the people in the area during the game Burba wise bennett to name a few that I saw giving kids a ball and a glove . CLASS ACT !!!!!! I am a proud brewer fan mike
  14. I just got back from the game in LA I was hopeing to see Ben pitch and welcome him to the show but I did not see him in the bull pen. It was good to see the Brewers in person and play well was a bonus . I was a lonley person in LA rooting for the brewers not to many fans out here. Anyway saw TOm Hanks and Robert Wohl (arlis) there so that was a bonus. I will try to get out there tomorrow if ben is going to pitch . Mike
  15. Took the wife out to that one , How else would a baseball mom want to spend mothers day if she couldnt watch Dana this was second best. Tough luck for our pitchers they seemed to pitch well but a lot of hits given up with only a few hit hard but they kept coming. They could of got out of a couple innings un harmed if that grounder was a foot here or there. Our guys will start getting the breaks and get the credit they deserve. Since Robin or I dont have a mom any longer it was a great way to spend the day. Plus my Daughter caught a foul ball and got to hear some of Slacks stories http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif Mike
  16. I went out there and got to see Manny pitch 1 inning I talked to the Mavricks relivers and they said he pitched well the wind was really blowing tonite and two fly ball outs turned into home runs....Thats the cal league esp Lancaster. Then I talked to Forest Martin who was charting pitches nice guy by the way and he said that Manny topeed at 94 and was working 88- 92 for the most part and in the first inning almost every fastball was 90+ he also thought Manny pitched well and the numbers dont tell the real story. Overall pretty good first time out ....Way to go Manny Mike
  17. good point but what do I do with the people in my house !http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  18. Sorry guys I know I said I would go watch Parra tonite but the Beloit rainout pushed Dana back to tonite and I have to listen to that . If his game goes fast I will be able to go watch some of it. GO SNAPERS Mike
  19. thanks Patrick but according to the midwest league they have the snappers losing 5- 4 ???????????????????? mike
  20. Need some help !!!!!!!!!!!! Is anyone having trouble getting the Beloit broadcast or is it just me ? Thanks Mike
  21. Sorry guys like what you wish but its Sweet Lou even his own yahoo name is Sweetlou***********@ ******* It fits him well with his sweet swing and a heck of a nice guy. Mike
  22. Let me add It was COLD , but we still had a great time . I came in town with a head cold so I was feeling badly and I did not get around as much as I wanted as I was in a clod medicine fog. Also got to met a coulpe of parents as well Mr Trofholz and Mr Heether which I always enjoy. It was nice to meet Brian and his wife who sang really good as well as seeing my old friend Patrick who threw a flamethrowing strike for the first pitch . I did get a chance to spend some time with Lend D and his family which was a treat (culvers) in it self . When a Californian thinks what a family is like back this area they are it some really nice people with good kids ,I think the Brewers are really lucky to have fans fans like these I hope to get back to listen to mrs Lend d sing the anthem. After the game we met up the a bunch of the guys and went out and had a great time they are a great bunch of young men with Special props to Danas roomate Tim Dillard . Overall Had a great time in Beloit but next time a I wait a little later in the year for a visit. Thanks to everyone Mike and Robin Rizzo
  23. Oh Im not sure I just assumed when he said he was pitching I thought he was starting. Mike
  24. Dana is pitching in tonights game for Beloit, against his good friend John Santor . That should be fun to see how he pitches him or if he will knock him down. They work out together in the off season but in High school they played against each other. Santor also went to school with our other pitcher Kenny D. I will miss the first part of the game due to Danas brother also will be playing so if someone can post how things are going I would apprecate it so I can catch up when I get back . Thanks Mike
  25. Hello all My wife Robin and I will be in town that weekend and plan on going to the Beloit games on Sat and Sunday. I hope we can still join you for the tailgating part of it.Looking forward to seeing Patrick again as well as meeting all of you for the first time , I hope there will be some other parents as well . Take care Mike Rizzo
