    Brian There are some ads on certain pages that are making some pages really wide. Thus, the scroll bar is appearing at the bottom. Not a huge deal, but thought you should know.

    Some of those injuries seem to be from last season. (Some of the dates are August). I noticed that Sheets is listed on the 60 day and my heart skipped a beat until I realized that this was actually old news. (Also, Duffy is listed on 60 day, yet is leading off).

    The catcher for the Cubs today is the grandson of one of my clients. Catching a future hall of famer is something to be proud of.

    I was able to join league 2 last night.

    Will this be a league where you can change your lineup daily or will you be locked into a lineup for a whole week? My preference is weekly, since I do not enjoy other league members picking up and dropping pitchers on a daily basis to rack up counting stats.

    Russ Just a quick question. Using your data I would have guessed that Cappy had 19 QS. (18W-2CW+3TL). However, Cappy only has 16 QS. I must be overlooking something. Thanks

    My wife gave birth to Veronica, our seond child, on Monday morning. My two year old's favorite bedtime songs sung by Daddy are 'Take me out to the ballgame'. the 'Star Spangled Banner', and 'Go Pack Go'.

    I just watched Kerry Wood's draft video from back in the day. If the readings from the gun were accurate, then Wood was only pitching in the low to mid 80's. I wasn't a draftnik back then, but I thought that Wood was regarded as a HS phenom. Any ideas regarding the gun readings for Kerry Wood's draft video pitching performance?

    Is the homepage down or do I need to customize the homepage to get the articles back? Currently there is the menu on the left and the header/title bar, but just solid navy blue in the main body part of the homepage. Thanks for any help.

    I was a lurker at ESPN way back in the day. Ditto. But I did lose touch for about six months during the .com debacle. (I just wouldn't let myself believe your site would turn into a site hawking beer making supplies and other crap, so I kept looking for your site and luckily did stumble accross the site again.) Those 6 months without brewerfan were dark times.

    Is there a slippery slope involved here? Could Townsend waive his baseball eligibility in the fall, but then petition with the NCAA to have it reinstated before next spring semester/baseball season? Colby (or anyone else), why is it that a player can continue to negotiate while in JC, but not while attending regular college?

    I don't feel offended. Hopefully, we can now end this thread, which is turning into a lovefest of a post and go back to our regularly scheduled Brewer post about Gantner, Vina, Ginter, Weeks, Listasch, or Belliard being the best Brewer 2nd baseman.

    If you didn't like it, why did you keep returning to the thread (which you apparently did)? The title of the thread was not "Milwaukee Sucks" or "Racism" it was a baseball related title. I don't check back here every minute, so I'll go into each thread that has a title that interests me.

    Joe I did not read the thread once it turned off topic. I guess I would prefer you pirated the thread and started a new topic in the off topic forum versus perpetuating the subject. I go to brewerfan instead of going to a bar. I come here to relax and talk about sports. Politics, religion, and taxes, though thoughtfully challenging topics, are not why I visit this website. I hope you will be the bigger man next time and move a topic to the off topic forum. I am sorry for insinuating that you started the off topic discussion.

    Brian Joe Hova has been turning (ex)clancy on us, only it is about off topic items. Is there a way that I can skip a particular person's posts? Or can you ask Joe to keep his off topic comments to the off topic forum. Thanks BTW - Clancy/Harold has been much better lately, so I am not intending to draw his ire.
