Great start by Cody again. 8 IP 7 Ks 1 earned. I think it is safe to assume he will be moving up in the next couple of weeks.

great news about Braddock. Thanks for the update.

I noticed the Shawn Ferguson thing too...But now after the game has been completed they have Hand in there and he was the one with the nice start. Player IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Hand 6.2 4 0 0 0 5 0 2.59

Power game rained out as well.

I love this day of the year! Thanks in advance for all the hard work throughout the season. I have to say the starters for this years first link report don't seem to stack up against last years. I believe we had Yo, Inman, and maybe even Manny on last years opening day. Hopefully these pitchers can make it to their level at some point.

    yfinn6 that is awesome.

Nice inning by Manny to start. Keep hitting line drives Billy.

That is a great move in my opinion. Not a single player of the perspective bench has much pop in their bat. Having a guy like Russel in AAA in case one of the big boppers goes down seems like a wise move, if he'll agree to it. He can play more than one position which helps as well.

I am guessing he will start as a SP pitcher. They can start him and monitor his pitches easier this way, without worrying about having to bring in a different RP in a close game.

Very sad to see Will Inman traded. I believe I liked Will more than any other brewers minor leaguer in recent memory. I was excited everyday he pitched to check the box score and I will miss his performances a ton. Good luck to all three in San Diego, and thanks for the memories

The obvious choice is Inman for me. I was also getting excited about Braddock before the injury. Manny Para has been pitching very well, and I am excited about him for the first time in two years again. As fas as positional players I would say Brent Brewer and Darren Ford are the most exciting to watch right now.

My man crush on inman is now official.

Inman is my favorite prospect as well. He is unbelievable. I get excited every day when I look at the link report and see he is pitching. I have done this in the past with other prospects, but I can't remember a pitcher being as awesome as Inman. I love it.

Horrible news about Jones. Hopefully it is minor and he will be back soon. Good luck to him.

I just wanted to add that Yo only gave up one hit throught seven as well.

The announcers for the Manatees started saying sir winman tonight. I like this nickname. The reason they gave was because he makes batters look like windmills when they swing.

The Power audio only works with the away teams audio feed. (at least for me) Just a heads up for anyone who was thinking about tuning in.

JDLR might lead the team in wins this year if he keeps it up...the boys seem to like scoring for him
  19. TrueBrew
    there goes my save again
  20. TrueBrew
I have gameday audio and it seems like sometimes there is commercials and other times there isn't...I really don't mind the commercials because I would rather listen to something than just have a 3 minute pause inbetween innings everytime.
  21. TrueBrew
My save too EDR....but at least I have C.Lee too so I got a run
  22. TrueBrew
mets just took the lead. 5-4 in the 8th
  23. TrueBrew
The mets just tied Houston in the 8th, and cubs are still losing in the 8th.
  24. TrueBrew
Wow, spivey is striking out WAY TOO MUCH this year

Nice work today Doug. Another QS from Davis and it seemed like he didn't have his best stuff that is what good pitchers do. Nice work
