  1. http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gifABOUT 20 YEARS AGO, MY PARENTS THREW OUT THE "FIRST BALL" AT CHILTON NIGHT AT THE BREWERS GAME, THE BALL WAS SIGNED BY HARVEY KUEHN AND BILL SHROEDER. JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY I TOOK IT TO A COLLECTORS SHOW AND ASK AN"EXPERT" HOW MUCH IT WOULD BRING. HE TOLD ME THAT IT'S NOT WORTH A THING BECAUSE THE TWO GUYS ON THE BALL ARE NOBODY'S, HE SAID ALL HARVEY KUEHN DID WAS MANAGE THE BREWERS.....I WALKED AWAY LAUGHING, I TOLD MY WIFE, THAT GUY DON'T KNOW CRAP, DON'T ALL US SPORTS GEEKS KNOW THAT HARVEY HELD THE BATTING TITLE IN 1962 FOR DETRIOT..... GET MORE FEEDBACK ON YOUR COLLECTABLES ASK MORE THAN ONE PERSON. I DID THIS FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES. NOW THE BALL SITS ON MY MANTLE IN A BALL CASE WITH HARVEY'S ROOKIE CARD......
  2. At this point of their career you would think that they wouldn't need to be reminded of every little aspect of the game, however, I feel that on occassion Ned Yost needs to do a little jaw jacking to get the players to perform to the BEST of their ability. If Ricky slowed up going around 2nd,maybe we should think that he's still not built up that confidence that he should have to play in the majors. As for Johnny Estrada, if it takes him several months to get four walks, then good, at least we know that he's trying to get hits, if he gets thrown out at second for trying to stretch a long single, damn, that's hustle, especially for Johnny, and that takes alot for me to say since I'm not really a Johnny Estrada fan.
  3. I'm not a Johnny Estrada fan to begin with, however, I do not believe we can blame him for the pitching woes, we can blame the Brewer management for not trading for more pitching help. I mean it's not like they don't have enough trade bate. Personally I wouldn't have traded Wil Inman, sure he's not living up to the hype that the experts are giving him, but that's why they have him in the minors. To blame Estrada for the pitching, heck you might as well blame Damian Miller also. They need more, better pitching, I would send Matt Wise down to the minors until he gets his control back, he's got to get that bean-ball out of his head. There's a whole list of pitchers that the Brewers have that make me just cringe whenever Ned puts them in,,,,,and unfortunately Derrick Turnbow and Coco Cordero are coming close to being on that list.
  4. I have to agree with everyone that said that Hank Aaron is a class act, he's always been one of my heros of the game because of that, but weather your a Barry Bonds fan or not you really have to admit that he deserves the accolades that he's getting. Maybe he did do steriods, maybe his body did bulk up, with that being said, you still have to see the ball, and obviously he's seen the ball 756 times. The only one who is truely classless in this whole situation is Bud Selig. Shame on you Bud.
