  1. At this point let's just hope it's at least 60% Brewers fans. I have to imagine a lot of people are dumping tickets and scrubs fans will pay anything to be there.
  2. Might as well swap Durbin for Manny Machado too since neither are allowed.
  3. To be fair...it would be a tie game going to the 9th.
  4. What if I told you after the Brewers were swept by the Yankees in the first series of the season they'd have a one game playoff to get to the NLCS. Are we fired up yet?! 🙃
  5. Who starts for the Crew? Does it matter?
  6. As depressed as I am about today...who is it on Saturday? Shota vs Miz/Quintana?
  7. I was pissed after Game 3. Today I'm just depressed, deflated and on the verge of giving up. We have a one game playoff to go to the NLCS and I feel like I don't even want to watch. This franchise.
  8. I don't get it at all. Is he going to pitch Uribe in the 8th as well? Looks like it's going to be a bullpen game on Saturday....hope we get good Miz.
  9. No way am I giving up Mitchell and Turang! We need to keep our farm system stocked!
  10. Happy deadline day! I will be extremely disappointed if the Brewers stand pat and don't make any additional moves. Very difficult to watch the Dodgers and Padres get exponentially better while the Brewers make a marginal trade. I understand the economics of baseball stacks the odds in favor of the Dodgers/Padres but if there was ever a year for the Brewers to empty their farm system for some big name additions this is it, IMO.
  11. It would’ve been so exciting for the Brewers to acquire Machado back in 2018, but imagine if they would’ve met the Orioles reported demands and given up Burnes. Sometimes the less exciting move proves to be the right move. And sometimes you give up Matt LaPorta or Lewis Brinson as the centerpiece of a trade.
  12. How about they sit Yelich for a couple games and play Taylor instead. Yeli is killing this team right now.
  13. Marcano was their 5th ranked prospect according to MLB.com. Pirates got fleeced.
  14. Padres trade for Adam Frazier. Just what the Padres needed, another all-star bat.
  15. I agree with what you're saying in the overall picture of the franchise but at what point do you take a shot and go for it all? Even if it means trading top minor league talent. For someone with more than just the rest of the season of control, sure. But not for a pure rental. That's fair but as you know those are exactly the type of players that will cost you someone like Turang.

  17. For all the talk of going for it now versus being conservative and "playing the long game", let's not forget that there may not even be a baseball season next year given the lockout concerns. Question for the board...if you could swing for the fences and have a 60% chance of winning the World Series (for the sake of argument let's say the Brewers acquire Scherzer, Kimbrel, Rizzo and Escobar) but in the process they majorly deplete the farm system and hurt the future, would you do it? I say absolutely. Nothing is guaranteed in the future. Who saw Hiura being the worst hitter in the league at this point? Who saw Yelich struggling this bad just a couple seasons after his MVP. Play to win now.
  18. Cy Castillo again? Fourth time in just over a month. Good news is Brewers have had better luck against him in Cincy.
  19. I find it funny that for all the complaining about tickets, SSHs, presales, etc. that tickets on StubHub for games 1 and 2 are now at or below face value (before fees of course).
  20. Comical or historical? This is looking like the 5th time in 8 games the Cubs will have shut out the Brewers this year. I can't imagine 5 times in 8 games has ever happened.
  21. Exactly. And even with the marquee pricing, it's still a huge discount to what Cubs fans are paying at Wrigley Field (not to mention a lot less hassle and the comfort of playing indoors). Let's face it, as long as the Cubs are good their fans will invade Miller Park. This only thing this "Wisconsin only ticket sale" did was give Cub fans added incentive to find ways to get tickets and make the Brewers look stupid. I can say that being on the other side of these situations (as a Badger fan that invades Minneapolis), seeing the opponent try to make it more difficult for opposing fans to attend only makes it more satisfying to see your team's colors saturating the stadium.
