    If Eveland keeps this up, i will gladly eat crow for the things i said about him the other night.

    Cubs lead 4-2, however, i fully expect them to find a new and impressive way to lose this game.

    So that gives us a nice little 1.5 Game cushion on 3rd place, sweet. Hopefully we can keep this up and move into a tie for 2nd tomarrow.

    Not really. He gives us a better chance than Ben did, but that's still not saying much. I don't see how someone who has an 8.22 ERA, and a WHIP of 2.02 is really doing much to help us win games. I mean, he doesn't eat up innings(longest outing has been 5.2 IP), he has a decent K/BB ratio, at best(17/9). He does have good stuff, he just isn't good enough yet. Maybe he is tipping his pitches or something. Ya, he will be fine. He just got knocked around by a good offense. If he can get that ERA down to around 4.4 or so, i will be happy.

    Happy for the win. Glad to see Shouse get it done. Here's to hoping we win again tomarrow, because everytime eveland/hendrickson is in the lineup, i worry big time.

    Sure i can, but the fact that maddux got his hat handed to him by the mAAArlins with 2 outs in the inning makes it all the more awesome.

    I have been building a deck for most of today, or else i would have started one. Thanks for doing it tho. If you would like to learn how to start one, with pictures and all, i am sure someone here will be more than happy to help. I could give you a few basic pointers.

    Leaving for the game now. I expect us to look a little clueless the 1st time around the lineup, but we should figure him out eventually. If they are holding him to a low pitch count, then i expect 6th or 7th inning Fireworks.

    Yea, he was taking notes about hamels fastball, and a few other people(some brewers, i don't remember who) as well(he muttered as he wrote, i could hear him as he was talking almost right in my ear). Just thought i would put it out here tho, lettin everybody know.

    Was at the game, sat next to a White Sox Scout(i could tell because he was wearing a HUGE WS ring). My question is, why was he there? Brewers and the Phillies don't play the Sox this year. Possible trade partners?

    Nunez is starting at third? That's a bit of a shock, concidering Bell hits almost .300 vs righties, compared to Nunez's .250.

    I have noticed sometimes we have trouble reading if someone is being sarcastic on this board(that often leads to confusion, and arguements), so i would like to propose a solution: I suggest we all write sarcastic remarks in a different color. Personally, i suggest we use blue. It shows up very clearly on the board, and it IS a Brewers color. I noticed someone used this in the IGT today, and i thought it worked well. Now, obviously this is a self-enforced kind of thing, so it would take everybody's effort in order to make it work. Anyways, this is just my thought on it. If you guys have any ideas, spill em out.

    Starting Billy Hall vs a RHP? Let's see what happens(altho he is probably the best CF option we have right now). EDIT: They just mentioned the little jawing that happened last year between Lidle and Lee. Anybody think this will come back up if Carlos hits a homer tonight?

    So Fielder is now no longer a ROY Candidate because Hamels was called up? I call horse-manure on that one. Hopefully we can rough him up, real bad.

    Fixed. (Since Sarcasm is hard to read on a MB, please use some kind of way for everybody to tell. My Vote is we just all use Blue for the term. That way it stands out and everybody notices it.)
