Great Win! Congrats Yo on your first big league win, keep it up.

That was a truly memorable game for me. I was at county stadium and had great seats to watch that game. Woodard's performance was utterly incredible and got the crowd (me included) very excited as the game wore on. Hope the same thing happens to Yo and brewerfans tonight.

Good luck Yo! I'm really glad you're up. Now no pressure just go out there and dominate http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Well done CoCo. Great Win against Boof. 6.5 games up.

This is gonna be a tougher game than last night. Bonser is a tougher pitcher than Baker, and he had dominated the Brewers in the last meeting, 7IP, 3 Hits, 1 Run, 11Ks. It would be really sweet if the Brewers can beat him tonight and extend their winning streak.

Finally a win streak that's more than 2, it's been too long. Unfortunately the Cubs won so the lead stays the same,

Looks like the Brewers have not sign LaPorta yet according to Adam McCalvy Link
  8. tigerbrew
Yes! Hall makes them pay for the intentional walk.
  9. tigerbrew
Come on magicman, do your thing.
  10. tigerbrew
Nice throw Estrada, right on the money.
  11. tigerbrew
Yeah Mass Hass, I think this is clear proof that Adam McCalvy frequents brewerfan.net. Thanks PeavyFury, now I understand why the Brewers delay the annoucement of this signing.
  12. tigerbrew
Wonder why there's still no word on LaPorta's signing in Brewers.com or MJS?
  13. tigerbrew
Excellent news on Inman's promotion, he deserves it.
  14. tigerbrew
Come on Brewers, please extend the winning steak beyond 2, it's been too long and we could really use a larger divison lead.

Wow, a power lefty who pitches 95-97 with good control, and ace-like stats in AA this season. According to the brewerfan scouting report, Parra also throws cutters, curve and change, does anyone know how good are his pitches? Agree, Parra's an exciting prospect, hope his past injuries are far behind him. like Inman, could we also have a Parra Tracker in the IGT? just a suggestion.

Nice Ks CoCo. Huge Win! Huge series Win!
  17. tigerbrew
Nice Ks, Turnbow. That's the way to go, attack them hitters.
  18. tigerbrew
Inge swung at 2 ball 4s before flying out to right.
  19. tigerbrew
Attack them hitters Turnbow, don't walk them please.

    1. Hart 2. Hardy 3. Braun 4. Fielder 5. Hall 6. Jenkins (vs RH) / Mench (vs LH) 7. Estrada 8. Weeks 9. P Glad to see Hall finally laying off those tough outside pitches that's just off the zone, this should lead to less Ks and more BBs. Opposing teams know Hall's weakness has been his tendency to swing at those outside pitches that are a little too low or just off the plate, hopefully not anymore now. With Hall's power and newly improve plate discipline, he should be a good fit for the 5th spot. Weeks' bat has been scuffling a bit, so I'd put him in the 8th spot temporarily. When Weeks' bat starts to heat up like it could, I would move Weeks up to 6th spot.

Great Win! The real CoCo is back. CV and Hall are the Heroes for tonight's game.
  22. tigerbrew
Just wanna vent a bit on tonight's game. Graffy - 4 Ks in 4 ABs Jenkins - 3 Ks in 3 ABs 7 of the 12 Ks came from these 2 clowns. Man, were both awful at the plate, it was disgraceful and embarrassing.

For me, if the Brewers don't make the playoffs this season, Yost should be demoted. I had said this in the offseason too. Even Yost had set the bar to this level for this team in his pre-season interviews. Personally, I'm more of a results oriented guy and including this season, Yost has been given ample opportunity to get results. If he fails to meet the target this season, I think he should be demoted.

Vargas looks good out of the bullpen.

Maybe the Brewers should convert Zach Jackson into a reliever now for the remainder of the AAA season, and see how he does in that role. He might turn out to be a useful lefty reliever for the Brewers in the very near future.
