Hart has looked real solid in his at bats so far... great to see! -
I know fielder had to hold for a bit on that, but I thought he would be almost crossing the plate when theriot picked up that ball... hmmm..

alright big win tonight.. I thought carpenter was starting today, so I am pleasantly surprised to see Garcia in there!

slow down a bit.. Hoffman made a good pitch and the guy hit it out from one knee.. it sucks a lot, but not much you can do about that, it was a good pitch.

86-76 I am pretty optimistic about the pitching staff right now with Wolf and Davis being big upgrades. Also, if Bush and Parra just have decent years compared to last year it will help a lot (which I think Bush will, not sure about Parra). The bullpen should be real tough as well, so overall I feel better about the pitching this year. Besides Braun and Fielder, Im a little concerned about the lineup. Weeks will be good if he stays healthy, and I think Escobar will hold his own, but I just have a feeling McGehee will struggle a little bit in his second year and I am not sold on Gomez improving too much... plus we all know that Hart is a complete mess as of now.. I have a feeling Edmonds might get his fair share of playing time by year's end. Hopefully, the crew can pull it all together and we can see another playoff run!

whats wrong with Ben Sheets? couldn't even get an out today vs. the reds and gave up 10 runs (9 earned)... you gotta think he can't be completely healthy if he's pitching like this.. Edit: updated topic title --cc

this game is ridiculous.. when we catch breaks we still just cant score i dont know if its just the mood im in right now but this is one of the most frustrating games I have watched

seriously, cam and casey needed to take some pitches.. especially after zambrano just loaded the bases on a HBP frustrating end to an inning that should have been more than 1 run

i thought the hit by JJ was a for sure double and maybe a run with corey running.. frustrating

Gamel strikes out way too much. I really dont have any confidence when he comes to the plate. 22 K's in only 56 AB's, plus he only has 4 BB's. Too bad hoffman couldnt get it done in the 9th, but you cant really blame the guy it had to happen sometime. Horrible homestand. The Brewers just look awful right now.
