    Well I guess we better pencil in Groome for the Hall right now. I wonder since he's going to be an ace why he slid to 12.

    I wanted really nothing to do with Groome or Puk. Pint or Garret were the only pitchers I was excited about at 5. I dont hate the pick I just wish it was Rutherford instead.

    Im close on Rutherford. Im hoping Lewis slips to us but Rutherford is a nice consolation. I just feel like he's our guy.

    Yeah I agree. Go with who you think will be the best prospect and figure it out later. Trades can always happen and eventually things get straightened out. The issue I would have with us taking a HS pitcher is that we have never really developed a pitcher. There is no track record there. Honestly I trust Stearns and Montgomery to get this right. Whomever we take Ill get behind.

    McCalvy forgot about Garrett Cooper, a Jeff Cirillo/Lyle Overbay type bat at... first base. Cooper will be 26 this year and has never played above AA. Not sure I would count him in the mix.
