  1. Count me in for the Barrel man I'll make sure to bring an extra pack of brats next time.
  2. http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTgzMjA5MTY3Ml5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwNzg0MDA3._V1._SX475_SY280_.jpg Hey, it could happen!
  3. I've got seats for in the LF bleachers for the Saturday? game
  4. C: Kendall 1B: Fielder 2B: Weeks 3B: Hall SS: Hardy LF: Braun CF: Cameron RF: Hart BN: Rivera BN: Counsell BN: Nelson BN: Duffy BN: McGehee SP: Gallardo SP: Parra SP: Bush SP: Looper SP: Suppan RP: McClung RP: Villanueva RP: Stetter RP: Riske RP: Coffey RP: DiFelice CP: Hoffman
  5. Prob going to ba an 86/87 win season. I'll say 86
  6. http://www.mlbtraderumors...8/12/yankees-sign-ke.html According to Joel Sherman (via mlbtraderumors.com), the Yankees just signed catcher Kevin Cash to a minor league deal. With all the money they've been throwing around, I guess it's fitting they would just buy some Cash. Are they just taunting everybody now?
  7. How about Prince's trot today? Took a little bit of time to see it out. How does it compare to Braun's?
  8. Great question, tough answer 1) Braun 2) Gallardo 3) Branyan 4) Parra 5) Shouse And since I got bored, I did a consensus talley. Braun ran away with it, no question, almost 20 votes more than any one else. The next four (Gallardo, Hart, Sheets, and Hardy) were within 4 votes of each other with a 9 gap cushion above CC at number 6. Neither Cameron nor Durham got a vote. Our roster would look like this C: Kendall 1B: Fielder 2B: Weeks 3B: Branyan SS: Hardy LF: Braun CF: Hall RF: Hart SP1: Gallardo SP2: Sheets SP3: Sabathia SP4: Parra SP5: Bush LR: Villanueva RP2: Shouse CP: Torres
  9. One of my fantasy teams is named "CC Spells Stud" http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. I call Braun "Brauny", Sheets "Benji", and the C*bs many many things that would be inappropriate to post here (usually just the Scribbies, though)
  11. The Angels will always be from Anaheim. No matter what the execs tell me. Edit: Pared back unnecessary part of the quote. - Toby
  12. I'm still amazed how much flack he gets in my place of work. He's been more than solid since his return, and I'm finally seeing people come around to him Post-ASB.
  13. I'll be the first to admit, I was down on the signing. I'll also be the first to admit I was terribly wrong and say that Jason has been huge for us this season.
  14. Thanks for the info. I'm trying to expand my baseball info sources, so this will be good.
  15. I think this is the winner right here. I don't really mind players watching their home runs, unless they make a show of it. I don't think Braun was trying to show up Franklin. Didn't he apologize to a catcher after Yost tore him a new one for staring at a home run too long sometime last season?
  16. It may have been the worst day of my Brewer fan career. I was ready to write us off as well, making this run all the more special.
  17. Where do you find the Zone Rating? I'm pretty new to the stats game (besides the main ones).
  18. East: Phillies Central: after a good race - Cubs West: *tosses coin* - Dodgers Wild Card: Brewers
  19. I mentioned this to a buddy of mine today, but with shorter appearances for the "relievers". Something like 5/6 for the starter and 2/3 for the reliever. Of course, if the starter is struggling you pull him earlier, and keep him in longer if he's dealing. If you can get 7 innings from the two, that leaves 1 for a set-up guy and 1 for Torres to get the save. This assumes that Bush can handle 2-3 innings on the road.
  20. Hey guys, newbie here... I was hoping the same thing. The odds were actually pretty decent for him, I think. Unless they doubled up him and Hall at home, it wouldn't have been that bad (in which case we would have probably murdered Yost). And can you imagine the reaction from the crowd if he had driven in the winning run after throwing a complete game? We might have torn the fair pole down. That being said, he needed to be taken out and I'm not a fan of pinch hitting him unless absolutely necessary.
  21. Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post here. I noticed that Braun was the only player to wear their own team's cap during the Derby. I thought that was pretty cool. I'm in the market for an All-Star jersey/tshirt as well. I'll probably pick up a Hart tee, since I already have a Braun navy tee.
