  1. FYI...the Attanasio bobble isn't included with the lot. It is pictured, but not listed in the auction description. I know because I asked the guy. He already had this lot listed once but pulled all the bids and restarted the auction. He told me explicitly that if he wasn't getting any bids on the last auction near $5000 he was gonna pull it and re-list it...and he obviously did just that! The "Buy-It-Now" went up, too, from $4400 to $5000. I honestly don't think this auction is worth that much. I could have my figures off, but a lot of it is a bunch of crappy knick-knacks from the Brewers and Packers. And he isn't willing to break apart the auction, either...one of the reasons I contacted him in the first place.
  2. Nice list! I've got them all minus the Mark Attanasio bobblehead (p.s. can anyone help me out with this one?) I took pictures of them all (for insurance reasons) before packing them up for storage...have to make room for the new addition to the family!
  3. I have a couple of extras that I will sell. Shoot me all offers.
  4. They must've switched over to a different base after a certain number. Don't know why, but my speculation is that the beer suds weren't kid friendly so they came up with a more appropriate base!
  5. I've obtained a few of the 2002 All-Star "The Meister" bobbles that appear to be an earlier version than the one so commonly found. It is different than the one I already have in my collection. Here are some pics comparing the two... http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/10926a549b16f43ce3f6dcca96dfc25be370da0e.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/c283623247261b4c4a95efb167d8cab65a069470.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/68b26b84471d34deeb1630c17f754f85e42511f8.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/d91265b4421c441be6b6e8ccc5e4743006e00910.jpg The differences I see between the two are obviously the base to start, which has beer suds on it. I found that the blister pack is molded to this specific version, which makes it more of an oval base. The next thing I noticed is that this version has an MLB logo on the back of the shirt. Also, there is a baseball on the top of the base (near the feet) and the clock on the front of Miler Park is not painted. On the front of Miller Park I also noticed that there is a piece below the retractable roof that is painted the same brick color as the walls which isn't evident on my other one. When I looked at the bottom of the bobble I noted another difference...there is no MBNA logo on the bottom as in the more popular version. Here are a few pics of these subtle differences... http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/1cb366ae44e213074724e9cb6bc3cbe604eeb2de.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/16b368ab49511aba4652ed346b9dc44bf7b65223.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/98f26ed438187470ed665dc6f5162ed03d337c04.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/8841614d1d4cef64c9cd376d6003ef24be47bcf0.jpg I also noted one other thing...all of them that I received had a strap around the box that had the date and logo of the All-Star game printed on it. I don't know why there is this different version, but I think with this logo/date strap these may have been either given away at the 2002 All-Star game or were for sale exclusively at the game. All of the ones I have are numbered in the 2000's. Can anyone else confirm that they have this version of the bobble, and if so, what number it is out of 10,000? I found this to be very interesting! http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/ad9263944815b40de1169dc7cc78450acedfcfd1.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/2ee366854af11dfb4b8bee4b638cc68be152d85d.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/130260347f1514a6eed64bcfe32929e82cfbe12d.jpg
  6. I keep thinking about those blank "scoreboards" on the bobbles. I can't help but think that the regular versions will be painted and the alternates will have something else...like maybe a button to push and they will light up?...
  7. A comment on the blank walls...I believe the Braun (with talking version!) from last year had a different wall portrayed on the Brewers website than that actually handed out. So...maybe the blank walls will become scoreboards...or maybe they won't be there at all? I don't see the point in having them if they're blank cause they look ridiculous!
  8. Turboricky and Bigjase...I'd be willing to work out a deal if I have any extras that you need. I have a bunch of randoms so PM me your need list and I'll see what I have to trade.
  9. Yeah, just put your Hot Dog up on eBay (where it will go anyways), use your winning bid funds to buy the Helena Braun, and keep your other racing sausage.
  10. That's what I thought, but just wanted some input. Thanks!
  11. So I received my bobbles and I was lucky enough to get #1 of the Taylor Green. I am unsure whether the Lorenzo Cain is also #1 or if it is #7. What do you guys think?http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/0d1160471b46e462c1d5675c622c3a0b832d1eb9.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/58d1684a164fea6ec00c8d55aee367876ac1223a.pjpg
  12. These have been on sale since Tuesday, both in store and on the website.
  13. I really think the four "moment" bobbleheads are going to be excellent Brewers memorabilia, but if the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board sponsored Hank Aaron bobblehead has him hitting his 755th home run on a slab of cheese, I'll be truly disappointed. With that said, who is hoping the Bernie bobble is sliding down his trademark slide (since Kalahari is the sponsor) with the alternate being from the old County Stadium beer barrel? (I know this is unlikely!)
  14. True...I'll hold onto it for the upcoming season. It'll always be available for trade then.
  15. I know some of you have been looking for this bobble. I have one listed on eBay right now. Check out this link... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eB...sPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
  16. Sorry guys...should have mentioned this sooner. I have listed these on eBay. Check the links above.

  18. I have a Brewsteer bobblehead that I would like to sell for $30 or trade for a Gallardo Snappers bobble. Let me know if you're interested.
  19. If anyone is interested in any bobbles from years past I have a few I would like to get rid of. I think all but 5 come with boxes. I also have (but not pictured) a Bango in the slam dunk pose. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/87b369b542c4106a403ded446411c53406328552.jpg
  20. I was going on the notion that a lot of tickets were sold for the game but third parties weren't able to sell them due to a loss of interest. There were a lot of purchased tickets that went without filling a seat.
  21. This year the Brewers had two games that sold out in which there was no alternate version of the bobble...the Ryan Braun and the Doug Melvin bobblehead games. I say the Braun game because no one knew about the alternate talking version until a day or two before the game. Some people may have thought (and many did) that there would be an alternate version, though, which didn't make sense due to the reason behind the bobble's pose. So this isn't a very good example. The Melvin game, though, definitely had no alternate version and it still sold out. I find it laughable that re-sellers of the bobbles (who caused the game to sell out so early) got stuck with tickets that they couldn't even get 50 cents for on StubHub. I couldn't believe my eyes...50 CENTS!!! And they didn't sell! Maybe those of us who don't buy tickets on opening day for the bobblehead games will actually have a chance to purchase them later from the ticket office (when we know we can make the game and not 4 months prior) and not grossly marked up on eBay or StubHub. But I digress... My two cents for next year's bobbles would be to continue the alternates since they are fun. We can mix it up a bit and have another pinstripe/powder blue combo or even bring out another 70's uniform. We all are hoping for something special for the 40th season, but I hope it isn't another fiasco like we saw two years ago with a bobblehead every Friday night! Five or six is enough in a season. It would be neat to see one in every different uniform the Brewers have had, which I think is 6 (and I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong.) Add in the Fielder Derby winner and the Racing Italian and we are up to 8! We'll see what happens.
  22. I am just curious to know the details of this signing. I couldn't find anything referencing it on the Brewers website. I would like to know the times he will be signing. Thanks!
  23. Here is a link where I contrast the 2001 SGA and Pepsi series, as well as the 2002 SGA and Pepsi series. Be sure to check the pictures at the bottom of the page.
  24. That is weird...maybe we should combine our collections! I actually have the blue Weeks (as well as the pinstripe Hart!) I tried offering the guy on eBay $25 for the bobble but my offer was automatically rejected, telling me that he has a set price as a cut off for offers.
