  1. A true collector would not sell this for a few hundred bucks. I've been after one of these for a long time, but simply cannot afford the price they're fetching on eBay. Hopefully I'll pick one up someday where it will remain proudly, never to be turned into fodder for profit.
  2. It was not given away during the Mr. 3000 shoot at Miller Park. I believe this was a promotional item given away by Touchstone Pictures (either during the movie premier, to theaters, or from their store directly.) I do know that most of these came out of California, so they were given out some time during the release of the movie.
  3. I am looking for a Ryan Braun Big Head from 2007-2008 in a dark blue uniform, a J.J. Hardy Big Head from 2007-2008 in a grey uniform, and a Rickie Weeks Knuclehead from 2005 in a white uniform. If you have any of these for sale please let me know. Thanks! (Sorry for the bad pictures...it's all I have) http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/40c26574531ae462eb668aca22417dddf99c4d99.jpg
  4. I will never forget the time we went to get Fielders autograph at the FanZone some Sunday afternoon about 5 years ago. At that time they had signings that weren't well advertised, so with that said not a lot of people knew about them. Anyways, after getting his auto we were sitting in Fridays enjoying some Bloodys, and I look over and see him sitting at the table alone with no one in line. My wife, a HUGE Fielder fan, went back in to buy a bunch of stuff and have him autograph it!

  6. This one was actually given to me and I have no interest in collecting them. I kept it in the package...in a box...tucked away with some extra bobbles of mine.
  7. Had to one-up me! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  8. I've got one NIB I'd sell for $198!
  9. At last years Miller Lite Beer Vendor bobble game they had a contest of who was the fans' favorite beer vendor. The winner was going to be showcased this year as a bobblehead, so I'm pretty sure that is what this one is going to be (like the two White Sox beer vendors...of actual people and not a bottle.) On a side note, the Counsell bobble will be different since he'll be wearing a "Bierbrauer" uniform on German Heritage night. I agree that the white jersey's with alternate pinstripes is getting REALLY old, especially since the uniforms are all white and they look all the same on my shelf. Where are the new blue "Milwaukee" uniforms? That would make for a neat bobble!
  10. Maybe they're getting wise and somehow getting feedback as to what we talk about on this thread. This would sure change the lineup of the bobbles, and would let them know a Wolf bobble wouldn't be the best choice. Keep the suggestions coming as somebody may be listening!
  11. They should do a Bonnie...all the Bernies in my collection are sure getting lonely!
  12. An Easter tribute bobble would be awesome. It could be a Rob Deer/Dale Sveum double bobble...sponsored by George Webbs!
  13. ...have Jason Kendall or Jeff Suppan for trade!
  14. Not sure of whether or not tickets to the NYCE Club include admission, but based on the tickets currently offered on eBay it sounds like it is similar to the Metavante Club (the former .300 Club). The NYCE Club used to be the Gehl Club which offered all-inclusive seats (which included admission to the park) during home games, and it was usually reserved by groups. It is located on the "exclusive" club level. Now I know the Air-Tran Airways Landing Zone (out in right field) offers something similar to what the Gehl Club used to (including admission, food, and drinks.) I hope this helps, and I'm sure someone out there has more to clarify.
  15. A few months back there were three in a row that went for well over $100, so I wasn't surprised. I was surprised that the most recent ones weren't fetching as much, but now it seems it's right back to where they were!
  16. I know for sure it wasn't a SGA, but I don't know exactly where it came from. I had heard it was given out to random people (employees) and to promote the movie, and the bobble does have "Touchstone Pictures" on the back of the base. I can only assume it made it's way into retail shops that have primarily movie related items, but I don't know for sure. BrewersSuperCollector...which seller did you buy your Mr. 3000 bobblehead from?
  17. Did you get to see the flood of Mr. 3000 bobbles that come out after Christmas? At one point in time there were 4, with one ending early (due to a BIN I assume.) There is one on there now as well. Did you get any of them?
  18. He probably got scared that it wasn't being bid up as high as the other one, and decided to keep it. Again I reiterate...I wish these things made it in the hands of real collectors that, no matter how high they sell for, would hold on to them. I don't have one, but if I did I sure wouldn't sell it to make a couple hundred bucks.
  19. I had a chance to buy this one before it hit the bay, but I couldn't agree to the $500 the seller wanted for it. Ridiculous! I wish these would find their way into the collections of real collectors and not money hungry "sports enthusiasts."
  20. Yeah they have different years, from 2004 (or 2005) to 2010 currently. The standing Bernie was from the first year they did the birthday club. Since then they've used the same mold every year. I thought they, too, were from the same lot. I don't know why they don't change the bobble...I've taken my son on his birthday for two years and got the same bobble, so it sure would be nice to get a different one. And they probably would make more money off of them if they changed them every year.
  21. Funny thing...I think they did that with the Windell Middlebrooks Miller High Life bobble. Someone on eBay had a pre-order auction a couple months ago stating he didn't get the bobbles yet since they were still being manufactured. Now you can find them all over eBay, but people are still trying to get around $50 for them. The highest I saw one go was around $120, and now they released a bunch more, dropping the price. I don't know if there is a way to tell the originals from the new ones. I'm sure if they did the Attanasio it would be dated on the bottom, much like the sliding Bernies are. I have a 2004 Bernie in my collection, and my son has a 2009 and 2010 from his birthdays. I'm not going to fill in the gaps because that is too neurotic!
  22. I don't think the Attanasio will go much higher. It'll end at $270. The Buy-It-Now price was at $100...ok I'm just kidding, I don't know, but if it was, whoever first bid is kicking himself for not getting it at that price. It reminds me of the time I came across the '03 Prince with a Buy-It-Now of $50 or a starting bid of $9.99. I clicked to BIN as soon as I saw it, but in the process of doing so somebody bid on it and the BIN went away. I was pissed! Then, less than an hour later, the same guy canceled his bid (which re-instated the BIN) and then used the BIN to purchase it. That was the worst! The '03 Prince has always been a hefty price. I eventually got one, but I've been looking to trade mine...I think I only would trade for the Attanasio.
  23. I've got the 2004 powder blue Money that is autographed. I am looking to sell if anyone is interested.
  24. A friend of mine has a few tickets left over for the Air Tran Landing Zone on Sept. 25th, the Brewers Fan Appreciation Night. Tickets are $80 a piece and come with a buffet that runs until one hour after the first pitch and two free beers per adult. Let me know if anyone is interested...I believe there are 6 tickets left.
  25. Here are a couple of pics of the bottom of the base after I used my Dremel to cut out the base. There is some space between the talking apparatus and the solid sides of the base, so cutting into it was pretty safe. Also there is glue around the edges of the talking apparatus which helped to protect it, but also made it a bit tough to remove it. I initially sanded down the bottom where I could see a delineation between the hollow cavity and the solid walls. Some areas I wasn't able to clearly make out, though, but sanding down the paint helped. This helped to guide my Dremel. Since my other camera is broke I had to use my other POS camera to take pics, which washed out the first one. But as you can see I was able to salvage the BD&A logo on the bottom. My initial idea was to remove the bottom piece and then after fixing the talking apparatus affix the bottom back on and paint it to match the base color. Now I am tempted to renovate the bottom so that I can remove the apparatus to change the batteries in the future if need be (any ideas?) BTW...the batteries are three LR44 batteries, which are commonly used in watches and laser pointers. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/949160431640e862cfa262115f70aa078d6b95e0.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/02526444e01f44b4e9162bc7737d72451bb700e0.jpg
