  1. Thanks for your help everyone. I was able to obtain these with a reasonable offer.
  2. I am interested in obtaining the following bobbles from the Beloit Snappers... 6/15/03 Beloit Snappers Prince Fielder 7/31/05 Beloit Snappers Vinny Rottino 7/16/06 Beloit Snappers Bill Hall 6/01/08 Beloit Snappers Yovanni Gallardo 8/03/08 Beloit Snappers Rickie Weeks I have a few bobbles to trade, so let me know what you're looking for and I'll see if I have it or can obtain it. Otherwise I will pay cash. Thanks!
  3. I need a little help again pricing a particular bobble. Anybody have any idea what the value of this is? http://images.yuku.com/image/bmp/05426d041114b4d9e1869bc006aa8bb862a6b949.bmp
  4. I have to put my two sense in on the Helena Braun... That bobble, although rare, is not the standard that we should be comparing other bobbles to, whether there were 250 made, 500 made...whatever. No matter how rare a bobble is, they are only worth as much as someone will pay for them. I believe there are more people interested in bobbles given away by the Milwaukee Brewers, not the Helena Brewers. This is why the price is driven up so much by the Milwaukee giveaway and not the Helena giveaway. Besides, the Helena Braun was a marketing stunt that wasn't given away to benefit those attending the game. It was created so that one man could hoard all the "rare variant" bobbles and sell them on eBay. In my mind that bobble is tainted because I have not seen another sole selling the bobble besides two people, and they both sell them retail. So with that said, the prices should stay low on those bobbles. Sorry to distract from the talking Braun...
  5. I am looking for tickets to the July 1 (Wed) game versus the Mets. I need two tickets am looking to take my wife and son (who doesn't need a ticket) and would prefer field level seats. Let me know what you have and how much! Thanks!
  6. The first one they gave away was the standing version of Bernie. Apparently we need more people to get the Birthday package so they run out and order a new version of Bernie. I for one will be getting the package for my son for his first birthday in August, but not for my gain of the bobble (since I already have it in my collection.)
  7. Hey guys...I have the opportunity to purchase a 2003 Brad Nelson, 2004 Rickie Weeks, and a 2004 Tony Gwynn, Jr. I don't know how to price these, so what do you think each is worth?
  8. I don't know anything about the racing sausages keychains, but a friend of mine recently asked me to keep an eye out for them. He said he went to Miller Park and couldn't find any. Really? I asked...there are a ton in the new "Meat Locker" at the FanZone. He told me that those aren't the right ones. Apparently his wife is looking for the set from either last year?...years past?...stadium giveaways? I don't know. If anybody knows anything about different versions of the sausages keychains then those currently for sale at the park let me know. Pictures would help, and if you have one, two, or the whole set to sell let me know. Thanks!
  9. I always thought the retros went for ridiculous prices but I've managed to get them for reasonable prices over time. This reminds me of the first Bernie/Fang from this year that sold for close to $50, but a few weeks later you could easily get it for $15-$20. The higher it is bid up to the more entitled those who got one think they are...and I guess I don't blame them based on supply and demand. In any event, those of us who want to find one should prepare to be shunned by our offer price until this fizzles out. In the mean time I'm going to find some way to rig the speaker from a $4 Hallmark card to be Ueckers call of the home run from last year. (That's a joke, of course.) By the way, unless this thing has a battery compartment that can be changed I don't know if I'll even buy one. I'm in for the long haul, and I don't want this bobble to be nonfunctional in 10 years with no way of fixing it...
  10. Just want to put it out there that I would be interested in one too...but of course this would be after bobblebrian and hocfs get theirs since I am third to post about wanting one and don't see the point in opening a new thread about it.
  11. Let me know if you have one for sale. I just got tickets and can't buy online (within 7 days of the game) and I fear they're already sold out, thus there won't be any day of.
  12. Does anyone have any Forever Big Heads for sale? If you do, can you post a picture? Thanks!
  13. I was wondering if anyone knew a ballpark price on these two complete sets of police issued Brewers cards? EDIT: Found a complete set of 30 on eBay for $9.00 plus shipping. Any idea about the 1982 set? Also, would anybody be interested in any sets? I am talking with a guy who has about 50 sets (I don't know the exact years yet) and if there is any interest I'll snatch them up and distribute them here for cost.
  14. I am actually kind of glad about the whole one bobblehead per person...not per ticket. It will come back to bite some people in the butt, like those who are selling on eBay who bought a bunch of cheap grass seats to the game. THAT is why there is such a "demand" for tickets, and it just takes the opportunity to attend the game and get a bobble from other REAL fans. Same thing happens at Miller Park. One guy buys a bunch of Bernie's Terrace seats and then sells the bobbles on eBay. Did you ever notice on bobble days that there is a huge blank section in Bernie's Terrace? A reseller on eBay, who is pre-selling a bunch of Braun bobbles (up to 50, I believe), put in his auction that "retros" will be available after May 3rd. Really? I pointed out to him that there will not be any retros since the bobble features a moment, not necessarily a player, from last season, and making a retro version would just be wrong. That just goes to show how much of a Brewers "fan" these resellers are.
  15. I am looking for a pair of tickets so that my wife, son, and I can get to the game. Preferably not Terrace tickets as this will be the first game my son (7 months...thus the reason why I need only two tickets!) will be going to...and my wife assures me that she is sick of sitting so high! I don't know ahead of time which games I can go to due to my school schedule, so now that I know I can get to the game I would like to find tickets. It's always best to search here first. Let me know what you have and your price. Thanks!
  16. Well I like them a lot...whoever did it did a great job. I repaint bobbles, but only former players. So far I've completed an Estrada and Vina, in the works of a Sexson and a Cordero, and on deck are Sheffield and Sabathia. It's fun and it is nice to have a "one of a kind" bobble. Good job, again, on the room.
  17. I see you have a Sheets, Lee, and Podsednik in gray jerseys when the only two versions I know of are white and blue. Were these repainted? Oh yeah...nice work on everything. Looks great!
  18. But...in Beloit it is limited to the first 500 fans, who get the bracelets. In Appleton it is an all-fan giveaway, so there is no need to mark with bracelets who will get one...just like at Miller Park. Just an observation...
  19. I, too, am looking for one of these bobbles before they go on eBay for the first month at astounding prices. There aren't a limited number of these like at Snappers games (limited to 500), every fan will receive one...so if the price reaches what it previously did on eBay (around $50) I wouldn't expect it to stay that high. The market will eventually be flooded with these bobbles eventually. Anyways, if you're going and can get an extra let me know. I don't think they can limit one bobble per person. If you have multiple tickets there is no stopping you from taking the bobble out of the stadium and returning with an unused ticket. Just an observation...
  20. That is good to know since the only other place besides the FanZone at Miller Park that I saw them was at a store at Brookfield Square. I'll check it out...thanks!
  21. No...it is more like the old colors (a brighter blue with "Milwaukee" across the front.) As an aside, I saw this on eBay and it looked like a really cheap knockoff to me, sort of like the jerseys that some lady was selling that were home made. Does anyone know the origin of this jersey?
  22. A few summers ago the Brewers released the throwback BP jerseys for retail sale. These are the ones they wear before the game before retro Sundays (at the time they were released it was retro Fridays.) I believe they had a Fielder, Hall, and Turnbow versions as well as one that had no number on the front/back and just said "Milwaukee." I have been looking for one of these jerseys for quite a while, and I am kicking myself for not buying one when I saw them. If anyone knows anywhere where I can get my hands on one (preferrably a XL or XXL) please let me know. Scouring eBay for the past two years, I have only seen the generic version listed (which I am not that interested in...I'd rather have a player number) as well as a used retail Fielder (which I was outbid on) and a game used Tony Graffanino version (and who wants that!) I bought one for my 7-month-old son a few months ago at the Fan Zone, who I believe still has a few left on the shelves. No adult versions, though. Thanks!
  23. I like the four step process to getting tickets...especially number 4! And it isn't absurd at all because at any game, including opening day, there are many people who would actually be HAPPY that you asked because they will sit out and party until about the 7th inning when they realize they should've sold their tickets to someone...
  24. I honestly don't know the answer to that question, but if I was into autographs I wouldn't hesitate to ask it. I personally disagree with the fuss that some players put up when asked to sign. I am reminded of my friend who a few years back got a bat autographed by Molitor. He asked for the HOF inscription and he apparently became angered while agreeing to do so. I know that greatly increases the value of the inscription, but I wouldn't think that players would be overly concerned about it. Anyways, that is my opinion. I don't get into the whole autograph thing, though, so someone who is more seasoned at it may have better input.
