  1. From what I know, the powder blue variant that surfaced last year was shipped along with the pinstripe version with the intent of handing the pinstripe version out last year (which they did) and saving the alternate powder blue version this year. Apparently someone got a hold of a few powder blue versions last year and passed them off on eBay for quite a bit more than the pinstripe version. I kind of felt sad for the people who bought them thinking they were rare when they will be resurfacing this year at another giveaway! P.S. I am still looking to monetarily compensate someone who can help me obtain a Bernie/Fang from the Timber Rattlers or a Molitor from the Snappers. Thanks!
  2. I am not looking to trade. I don't have a stock pile of extra bobbles like some do on this board, but instead have one of everything that I want in my collection. Please do not respond if you want to trade as I am simply looking for someone who is going to these games to pick up an extra for me by buying a ticket for them. Thanks!
  3. I am looking for someone who is going to attend the following games to help me obtain this years bobbles from the minors. My schedule doesn't allow me to travel, so I need help getting these. I will pay for a ticket plus more in needed so that I can get them. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers: Home Opener on April 9th (Bernie and Fang Bobble) Beloit Snappers: July 12th (Paul Molitor Bobble) Wisconsin Woodchucks: Sometime this season they will be giving away a powder blue Jim Gantner (the variant to last years version...looks like the same one from the Brewers in 2007 with glasses) If anyone is going to attend any or all of these games please let me know. It's possible I may be able to attend the July 12th Snappers game, but I wouldn't know until close to the game, so I am banking on not being able to go. Thanks everyone!
  4. I did want to sell them as a set. I don't want to hassel with selling them off individually, but do let me know which ones you would want because if I have someone to take the remainder, I would break it up into two sets.
  5. Am I asking too much...or is there just no interest?
  6. Correction...Mason was from 2005.
  7. Is anyone interested in buying this lot? I am looking to get about $175 for the entire lot. I don't know which boxes I have, but I do know that I am missing only about 3 or 4. I don't feel like going into the attic right now to fetch them. Here is a list: Michael Redd (2007) Tim Thomas (2004) Desmond Mason (2005) Jon McGlocklin (2006) Mo Williams (2007) Andrew Bogut (2007) Andrew Bogut (2008) Sidney Moncrief (2008) Michael Redd (2008) Kareem Abdul-Jabaar (2008) Bob Lanier (2008) Ray Allen (2002) Ray Allen (RARE 2002) http://i330.photobucket.com/albums/l429/snoopeclipse/Bucks.jpg
  8. I must've missed the rant. Oh well...next time. And I guess I do realize that trying to find one for the price I want to pay is going to be rough. I don't agree too often with the price of most bobbles, which is why I don't have all of them. Since people agree that the going rate for this bobble is about $100, the best thing for me to do is find something in my collection worth about the same to trade. That way both would benefit from the transaction. I enjoy the fact that this board allows members to buy, sell, and trade memorabilia in a reasonable manner. I have obtained a few bobbles for my collection through trades and I think both benefited from the experience. Thanks to those who responded positively to this post thus far.
  9. Well I find myself regretting ever asking for help completing my collection. I figured this was the best place to find other fans who would be willing to help others. Just like the ticket policy on this site, where you can't sell for more than face value, I thought someone who had an extra may be willing to sell not for the sake of making a giant profit, but for the satisfaction of advancing another Brewer fan's collection. This is Brewerfan.net, isn't it? I understand supply and demand, and I know the "street value" of this bobble. It is always changing, and for some to say you can get $100 or even $150...try again. That used to be the going price on eBay, and may be again some day, but right now they are going for less than $80. Still not the price I want to pay, and if I can't find anyone willing to sell for the price I want to pay, no worries. I wasn't expecting the guy who buys 100 Bernie's Terrace seats to every bobble game just to sell the bobbles, both regular and rare versions, for top dollar to find my post and be willing to sell to me for the price I asked. Just another fan. This was the best place for me to find someone to help me obtain this bobble for the price I want to pay....not Craigslist or eBay...but now I am doubting that.
  10. I've seen the last two go on eBay (from the same seller, I might add) for $74 and $69. I make it a rule not to pay more than the cheapest price I've seen. I figure $50 is reasonable for me. I actually had the opportunity to get one for less than $30 shipped on eBay last week, but wasn't fast enough. The seller just had the box in the picture, so I emailed asking what color it was. The next day I got the email stating that it was the powder blue version, but was literally less than 10 minutes late to log on and see that it was sold. I know that there are a bunch out there collecting dust, and I figure the best way to find one for a reasonable price is on this board. I've traded with many on this board and it is a good place to go to buy memorabilia without getting ripped off.
  11. I have been in search of a 2003 Powder Blue Paul Molitor bobble for some time now. I can find it on eBay from time to time, but I am not willing to pay the price that it goes for...it is ridiculous. If you can help me out for a reasonable price let me know. Otherwise I can trade as I have extras of the 2004 Powder Blue Jim Gantner and the 2008 Helena Brewers Ryan Braun. Thanks.
  12. You are right! It was a giveaway from the Cardinals that I painted to be a Brewer. It wouldn't be right to put Vina in a uniform he never wore. I have a few others that I have painted, and even more that I will eventually do.
  13. Not that I mind the retro alternatives, but if we bring back the old 90's jerseys we'll be having a bunch of alternates like this... http://i330.photobucket.com/albums/l429/snoopeclipse/Vina.jpg
  14. I would be willing to pay for someone's ticket price (the cheapest seat, of course) if they could pick up a bobble for me. I am an avid collector, like many on this site, but am unable to get away from medical school to attend any games until later in the summer. Please PM me if this is something you could do. Thanks!
  15. I know he wore #66 in Nashville. Thank you for the information. I am still wondering about wearing #34 as a Brewer if anyone has any information.
  16. Does anyone know if Prince Fielder once wore #34 for the Brewers...more specifically, during 2005 Spring Training before he was called up to the majors in June 2005? Please let me know.
  17. Here is your last call to get any of these jerseys. I will be sending in the order next week so get them before they're gone!
  18. The yellow Nestor Corredor is available once again.
  19. The white Tim Dillard jersey (#79) has been spoken for.
  20. As far as the numbers of the past players, those were supplied to me by the Helena Brewers. The jerseys are sold and the proceeds go to charity, so the price wasn't going to budge from the $75. Just an FYI.
  21. The updated sleeveless white jersey list is up! Sorry about the confusion.
  22. Sorry everyone...but the list I had for the home white jerseys was inaccurate. I will be posting another as soon as I get it.
  23. I've been in touch with the Helena Brewers because I am going to purchase a few of their jerseys from this year and years past. If anyone else is interested in these jerseys let me know and I will place one big order and we can then meet up so you can get your jersey. You can send me payment to my Paypal account, but only before you PM me with your order. I will then send you my Paypal account info for the deposit. This will prevent two people purchasing the same jersey. I have the jerseys listed first below followed by the players. Please keep in mind that the money received by the Helena Brewers is going to charity and the price they want is the price I am giving to you. I am not making any money off of this. I do ask for $5 extra to supplement the shipping cost. This was the Gold Medal special edition jersey worn this year to commemorate the Olympics. Available players are listed below. These jerseys are $75 plus $5 shipping.
