Yes. The "fire Melvin because he traded Cruz" talk needs to stop. There are lots of other reasons to want Melvin canned.

Nice first inning. Feels strange to have a lead. Does Paulino ever work out of the bullpen?

Just made the front page with a streak of 11. I'm going with Gennett today and Miranda tomorrow.

    Wow. Monster shot by Corey.
  9. jjkoestler
    Estrada has a nasty change-up.

Why not start Lucroy? Wait.... He's a prospect.... Nevermind.

I'm a big fan of Go Go and his reaction to the HR. The Brewers need confidence and attitude.
  12. jjkoestler
Agreed. He should have gone for 2.
  13. jjkoestler
Yes. DFA the entire team sans Prince and Braun.

I'm not a fan of Macha, but I really don't think a managerial change would make a difference. As Brewerfaner mentioned in a previous thread, "I don't want players that need a manager to motivate them to perform. They need to be shown the door if they need external motivation." Re talent: I disagree. The Brewers offense is above average, and I believe the bullpen will end up being about average. It is the starting pitching that is killing the team.

I just sacrificed a goat, cardinal, and a Jeff Suppan rookie card.

Happy to help. Thank you Brian, Casey, and mods for all that you do.

Is Vargas up in the pen? If so, Suppan is truly worthless.
  19. jjkoestler
Jeff Suppan is not good at baseball. He makes me feel sad inside.

Bush was squeezed on a 3-2 count and had some choice words for the ump. The ump then took his mask off and followed Bush back to the mound yelling at him after Bush had already turned his back and headed to the mound. It took Kottaras and Counsell taking the ump away and Fielder taking Bush away to separate them. Thanks for the update. I'm watching the bottom of 1 now (why would I do that). Absolutely bush league. The ump should have a suspension coming.

Would someone update me on the Bush vs Blue situation? I just turned on the game and saw Soup pitching. Thanks.

Smasdflkaesroadsfhl;zja has to be better than Bob Howry.
  23. jjkoestler
    Yo is on deck
  24. jjkoestler
Hell of a play by Escobar. So who's going to the DL or getting DFAed? Vargas? Soup?
  25. jjkoestler
Axford, Braddock, and Lucroy?!? I'm excited again.
