I bought my first boxes a couple months ago after about a 20 year hiatus. With all of the different types of cards out there I am going to limit myself to 3 or 4 sets each year. Thus far I've decided on Bowman and Allen & Ginter.

A card that contains a mini card inside. Basically you have to decide if you want to rip your card in half to see what is inside.

Anyone ripping any? They are a lot of fun. I ripped two boxes so far and pulled 5 jersey relics, 1 Delmon Young printing plate, and a Mariano Rivera rip card /75. I want to rip it, but I'll probably just sell. My local card shop set a case aside for me so I could chase the rip card, but I already pulled the rip card from the case. Should I keep buying from the same case to chase autos, or should I pull from a different case in search of more rip cards?

Crazy. Too bad it wasn't Yount or Moli. Has anyone seen these before? The sellers description is lacking. TR: Could you post the pic of the bobble in the "bobblehead thread"?

At first glance I really have no idea why the Brewers would pay him more to waive his option unless they are planning on using him as the closer.

He needs to be sent down or have a phantom injury if he doesn't perform in the Colorado series. I thought the all star break would do him some good but that isn't the case so far. The Brewers simply can't afford to wait any longer. -

It's awesome that he isn't getting stuck paying the taxes, but it is Jeter and/or the Yankees whom should have stepped up to pay the taxes. -
Welcome back, Mr. Braun. Adding Braun & K-Rod is a pretty nice start to the second part of the season. Here's to Casey having a huge series and breaking out of his slump.

I'd guess around $175-200 if you sold it as a set. Selling individuals would probably be the way to go.

Three annoying things about Summerfest this year: 1: Beer pours at Lakefront Brewery are never full. It's a 12 oz glass and I get 9 oz of beer. Learn how to pour. 2: People standing on the bleachers during a show. Seriously, what does this accomplish? It blocks the view for everyone who isn't on the bleachers and you (standing on bleacher guy) don't gain anything because the people in front of you are standing on the bleachers too. Stop the madness. Remove the bleachers. 3: Drunk girls who sit on their boyfriend's shoulders during a show. In the middle of the Lips show a drunk girl stumbled her way through the crowd and proceeded to climb onto her boyfriend's shoulders for "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" because it's her "favorite song wooooo!!!!!!."
