  1. I sadly called that grand slam http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  2. Review of the Milwaukee location http://www.avclub.com/mil...-waterfront-grill,40116/ Sounds like they just stuck his name on front and added a fresh coat of paint.
  3. I'm a few miles from Wrigley, but I can assure you that the wind is pretty insane today. Should be interesting.
  4. I appreciate Bill Hall getting the game winning hit yesterday... but why does that mean he's ready to face a tough righty?
  5. The best thing about Joe Morgan is that he isn't Tim McCarver.
  6. And seriously, who is going to want to mess with Big Red if he throws at them?
  7. Twins fans generally travel to Miller Park in large numbers as well. The demographics are usually the same as many Brewers/Cubs fans -- collage frat boys. However the problems with two rival/fanatical fanbases in tight quarters never seemed to be a problem. I used to work in the Fan Zone at MP and never found any problems with the hoards of Twins fans. They were young, (older than me at the time) and drunk, but never seemed to cause any problems. Many (certainly not all) Cubs fans went out of there way to be jerks to fans in the stands and anyone working in the stadium for that matter. Over the years I saw and heard about all sorts of crazy stuff. For example, a few years ago when Brewers/Cubs series were dominated by Cubs fans, there was a fight in TGI Friday's that sent someone actually through the drywall. Didn't see this in person, but it sounded pretty serious. In person, I saw a fan getting hauled off by the police in the service level of MP... and followed the trail of blood that was coming from his head. He was of course, shirtless, and screaming that he didn't do anything as he kicked his legs into the air as two officers held him by the arms. T'was an interesting night.
  8. Hello 1992 - 2007 Brewers, great to see you again! Can't remember the last game where you knew they were done so early. This is getting frustrating quick.
  9. Team RISP: 2-for-13. Team LOB: 12 LOB: 27 onto their 3rd or 4th hitting coach since they've been clueless with RISP. Some things never change.
  10. That was amazing. The overhead shot showed it -- literally, right down the middle.
  11. sweet pick rickie http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. Maybe I heard things wrong, but it seems like we're getting conflicting reports on the Brewers game plan on basestealing. Opening day, it sounded like Macha claimed that he didn't think the team would run much, then they went wild. Today, Randolph says they plan on being very aggressive.
  13. Though I greatly value his contributions to the team last year, I am getting a sick feeling of joy by watching CC get booed in his first start. Welcome to NYC big fella, have fun. -edit: wait a minute, they are in Baltimore. Are there that many Yankees fans there during opening day?
  14. And Jason Kendall to finish it. There is no tomorrow Dale, free Mike Rivera.
  15. I know there was only about a .01% chance of it happening, but it would have been really nice to see Mike Rivera pinch hit there just for the tiny hint of hope that he might do more than hit a weak chopper or a popup. But we haven't seen Mr. Rivera since September 19th... I miss you Mike :'(
  16. I'm surprised to see that everyone seems to be taking the right approach to Moyer thus far. Except Braun, who appears to have skipped that meeting.
  17. My prediction: Old man Moyer breaks a hip fielding a bunt, Brewers take advantage of Phillies bullpen.
  18. He struck out Myers two different times. Should never have gotten to this point.
  19. Then the following day, after a leadoff hit, Cubs relievers retired 16-17 in a row. They also won the wild card that day. Keep it close!
  20. I'm wondering, is there an easy way to figure out how many innings the brewers have been held hitless in the last few weeks, without having to go through every single gamecast? It might be my imagination, but they have to have no more than 3innings / game over the last few weeks with hits.
  21. Yo has pure icewater running through his veins.
