    YB with an ironic AB.
  2. davego
If the 'crew wanted to ever deal Randy, the Giants would make some sense.
  3. davego
    Wow. What a waste.
  4. davego
Shouldn't you PH for Morgan, here?
  5. davego
...what RoCo said... Get our best hitters up in the order and leave them there. I'd you have to toy with the hitting order, do it at the bottom where it can do less damage.

I'd rather have Rickie 1, followed by Ryan, Prince and Corey 4th...but that's just me.

Wow, 21-24 millon for JJ. Good for him. Not sure If I'd want to make that deal given he is coming off 2.5 years of being not so hot. granted he has played quite well this year. Hope it works out for both.
  8. davego
Well, I suppose DM could offer that...

I'll be real happy for Pittsburg if they finish second.
  10. davego
    Well, that was cool.

Jeff does a nice job. Espically if you consider how much he has been behing the mic compared to Rock.
  12. davego
Can we just play Dale at short? I've seen him do it.
  13. davego
I agree with all that. But saying now we should have kept JJ is easy to say.
  14. davego
    Should we walk Phillips?
  15. davego
Thank goodness for the out on the bases.
  16. davego
    Stop using facts, Trwi7.
  17. davego
Thats what I thought. I remember as a kid either Rice or Lynn or Evans (some Redsox OF) dealing with this issue.

DM rocking the accent tonight. Now I wish the guys would ask him about roster construction.
  19. davego
Why does this team carry YB, CC and Wilson? I just don't understand.
  20. davego
    The Truth speaks it!
  21. davego
More my point ( not to jack the tread) is that JJ played himself off this team. Wish he wouldn't have, but he was not a victim when DM sent him down.
  22. davego
Would some sort of CC/YB/Wilson combo be any better? It would seem to me that if it was, it would be just due to random luck?
  23. davego
Id take Hardy over what we have now (obviously), but he had SS locked down for the 'crew and screwed it up himself. I blame him (his performance, et al...not personel) for bring YB to Milwaukee.
  24. davego
Hardy had it coming. I'm all about treating players "well", but he did little the last 2+ years he was in Milwaukee other then be hurt and avoid accountability on his performance.

Leave it open. Even if it takes 20 minutes to close the thing, it would take a monsoon to make the field unplayable
