When he was down here in Gwinnett, Shewmake reminded me a little bit of Mauricio Dubon. Always usefulish, but not quite there. Dubon finally broke through and put up a 1.8 WAR season when he was 28. Already has 2WAR this year as a 31 year old.

Two differen BABIP related comments 1. Sproat's BABIP against was a touch above league average in Mar-May. It is well below in June. I am enthusiastic, but it is slightly curbed. 2. Look at what having an elite defense does to BABIP.
