  1. Alright Casey. Let's see one of these "better at bats."
  2. You've just got to make that play Prince. That's not an error because he got an out, but really should be.
  3. How come the Cubs can make plays despite poor field conditions? Dang it Rickie.
  4. This is not funny at all. I've never seen anything so ridiculous. And you can't blame the field conditions, this is just terrible baseball!
  5. This has ugly written all over it... man this is frustrating.
  6. Glad to know I'm not the only one whose health is worsening due to this series!
  7. Casey McGehee continues to be a thorn in my side. He's adding absolutely nothing to this team.
  8. First place... how about earlier today becomes the last time in 2011 we weren't able to say that. I have confidence that you can do this for us Brewers!
  9. What a great defensive and / or pinch runner to have for late in the game, Carlos is. That's a really huge weapon on our bench.
  10. This team is so different than Brewers teams of the past that would really scuffle when faced with any adversity. Lately, you almost expect them to have these big rallies and come back. What a nice change! I agree with Rock on TV, let's enjoy the crap out of this team this summer!
  11. Seems to me like Rickie really presses when he's up in those clutch late game situations.... BUT TONY PLUSH DOESN'T!
  12. Actually it's 7 in 7.No, I think it's 6 in 6. He has 3 in 2 games in this series and had 3 in 4 games vs Florida. He didn't hit one in the final game vs Cincinnati.
  13. Way to let your go-ahead run steal a base there Yuni. Geez, fundamentals are lost on some of these guys. And I know he's best when he attacks early, but this was a situation where you have to let Gomez steal!
  14. Pathetic, just pathetic. I blame RR and Loe equally. Maybe the fact that he completely blew up here might help RR understand that Loe is not an elite set-up man and he needs to play the matchups. Sometimes, people ask me why the Cards always seem to find ways to win and I have always believed (as much as I dislike him) that LaRussa's ability to play matchups and be a great game manager is one of the big reasons. I think we as Brewers fans are seeing the exact opposite this year. We were winning in spite of RR, rather than because of him, and now his bad decisions are haunting us.
  15. Was just thinking the same thing. Mets bats have been warming up lately (mostly Reyes). But it's so nice to go into almost every series these days feeling like our starting pitchers give us a great chance to win the series and a possibility of a sweep.
  16. Ax looked sharp tonight. The one runner should have been an error on Prince, IMO. Good start to this series. Let's have the good Narvy tomorrow for a chance at a great series
  17. The catcher killer is pinch running to tie this game
  18. I think that play to end the 8th was a good example of RR's shifts working too. I'm still a bit torn on them (especially in double play situations) but if you noticed, Rickie came from behind the bag to get to that. I don't think he makes that play from normal 2b position.
  19. I will say though, Loe just threw his 3 nastiest sinkers to Stanton. Those were filthy
  20. Oh, I completely agree. I just know that RR views him as such so that's why I said he's going to have to earn it tonight.
