  1. Yes, you guys are right. White flag is now blowing in the wind. It was at half mast with Estrada.
  2. How is Estrada the human white flag? Because when he comes in we all know the lead is most likely going to get larger. Let's go bats! EDIT: Thank you Corey
  3. Yes, the human white flag is coming in. Time to mix up a whiskey drink and do something other than watch this team get owned.
  4. Might as well put it on a tee if your going to float that 10MPH curve in ther belt high down the middle.
  5. Nice, Kottaras/Wolf start again lines up with an opposing RHP. Genius RRR, pure genius.
  6. Rickie needs to settle down a bit and get the bat going. He is currently on pace for 215 Ks. That would even impress Drew Stubbs and Mark Reynolds.
  7. This is great. 0-0 game when I go to a work meeting at 1 and I come back to see the Cubs put up six runs on 37 consecutive singles.
  8. Like this line-up. I wonder if Hart stays hot if he will stay in the clean up spot. Gamel getting so much PT pretty much squashes all the prvious talk about RRR's Ish crush.
  9. Glad to see Yo bounce back from the horrible first start. Let's go bats. I smell some Badger Mutual Insurance runs.
  10. I like your thinking. Hopefully RRR wil see the same way we do.
  11. What happened to all the Gamel haters? Love might be too strong of a word so i will just say I like that guy a lot!
  12. Need to get this in there. FREE TAYLOR GREEN! Glad we are paying out the A for A Rams "production" so far. I know it is early, but I am already sick of watching him fail.
  13. it's only one game (and some other ABs sprinkled in), so it's a little soon to go that far. That said, I've really enjoyed watching him play today. 1-2 with a BB and 24 pitches in 3 AB. Definitely do not mind him in the lineup, but not ready to say he should jump to the top of the CF list. one game. Two early? He did it all spring and for how many years in Japan. There is a reason he was batting champ in Japan, and it appears he isn't struggling much to adjust to big league pitching.
  14. Anyone else starting to like Aoki as starting CF. I just like the guys approach at the plate. I personally like him over Morgan. Aoki is only going to get better the more he plays.
  15. Just saw an interesting stat on CBS. The Brewers top three hitters lifetime against Dempster (BA wise) are Manny Parra who is 2 for 3 .667 BA, Gomez who is 2 for 5 .400 BA, and then Randy Wolf who is 6 for 15 .400 BA.
  16. With Lucroy out RRR probaby put Gomez, Aoki, Morgan, and Kot's names in a hat and he drew Gomez for 8th. We're facing Dempster who is a RHP. Gomez doesn't hit RHP well, therefore he bats 8th. He bats 2nd against LHP. Not that hard to figure out. No reason to bat him 2nd when Aoki and Morgan are both playing. I thought the sarcasm was laid on plenty thick in my post.
  17. With Lucroy out RRR probaby put Gomez, Aoki, Morgan, and Kot's names in a hat and he drew Gomez for 8th.
  18. I don't get this lineup at all. I was expecting Aoki to play for Hart, but the rest of the moves make no sense. Lucroy and Braun shouldn't need the day off.
  19. I am all for a higher number. If anything it gives the younger guys a taste of the big leagues, and allows them to compete. Gets all the younger players in one place and probably makes it a little easier for Melvin or others to scout them all and see them play in person. Once the season kicks off all they have to go off is the local scouting reports and video.
  20. I prefer to lock up Greinke. I can't call those guys the future Brewer Rotation because outside of Peralta no one is guaranteed to even get to bigs anytime soon or ever. Eric Arnett can chime in on how first round college pitchers pan out. I need to see something from them (Bradley Jungmann) before I will deem them the future, and let a top line starter walk. I like the sound of Gallardo, Greinke, ? , ? , ? more than the sound of Gallardo, ?, ? , ?, ?.
  21. With the possible exception of Lucroy (who's probably close to his ceiling) I just don't see emerging players on the Brewer roster unless Gomez suddenly blossoms. So you think Lucroy who just finished up a fairly impressive first full season in the bigs is close to his ceiling, but Gomez may blossom? Not seeing the logic there. Aoki deal is great. Low risk for the Brewers.
