  1. any hitter should know that the pitcher with 2 outs will not throw one of the hottest hitters a strike in that AB with 1B open. if they do it will be on the outside of the plate, which means think opposite field or lay off. Bad mental baseball.
  2. No matter how good Estrada is doing it could make him expendable. I would do a packaged deal at mid-season and trade Estrada, Nelson, and HellWeg for a big time 3B man that is controlled for at least 3 years or longer. Estrada is about to get very expensive. Then I'd just move Thornburg into the rotation. In the off-season I'd trade Ramirez and a prospect for a top SP prospect for depth. Ramirez if Healthy will have a great year this year and will be worth a lot in the next off-season. Roache will fill 1B the year after and we will have zero holes to fill. Just re-sign Gallardo. He will sign a team friendly deal I'd bet. The way Lohse is pitching and the type of pitcher he is we could extend him 2 more years with an option and he will pitch just fine. We need a good 3B man, and have to think about replacing Ramirez.
  3. Let's sweep the pirates and put 3.5-4 games between us and the rest of the division at home!
  4. Liar I was wondering when you would catch that. Your preseason prediction is looking terrible right now, Twri7. What's up with that?
  5. It's human nature to lie when you think there's even a 0.00000000001% chance you can get away with it. Nobody is going to tell the truth right away. Look at the other Biogenesis guys. Jhonny Peralta denied it when his name first showed up, then he saw the evidence they had on him and admitted it. I disagree. I haven't lied in 15 years. It always comes back
  6. The problem started last year. He sucked after the injury occurred and then he was suspended. So I wouldn't say he has put up excellent seasonal stats with this injury. Technically he's been injured for a lot longer than that with nagging injuries, but that hasn't really affected him. His stats prove that.
  7. Release him. He's wasting a roster spot.
  8. It's not troubling if it doesn't affect his numbers. If he puts up another excellent season we can put this issue to bed. To be honest he's been bothered by this for multiple years now and still puts up excellent seasonal stats. Why is this such a big issue?
  9. Ken Rosenthal has as well, which would put PrinceFielderx1 in an awful predicament. I'm looking very good right now about the Brewers. These writers are 5 paces behind me.
  10. and what's the problem again?
  11. Wild card? I'm thinking division. Our pitching will just improve as the season goes on and we will have the top offense in baseball.
  12. The Brewers have a p[layoff caliber team and I've seen enough to determine it.
  13. Brewers fans know just how good of a hitter Braun is and how important he is to this team regardless of PEDS or not, which is why they cheered. Brewers fans are the best fans in baseball and they proved it yesterday.
