    just awful. botches all over, including production. pacing of the show sucked with all the clips. miz better get punished for his two botches. likely cost truth his PPV payday and possibly mania as well if its a bad enough concussion. just totally pussed out when it was time to catch him on the floor.

    I get the impression that the new TV deal is still nowhere near where it should be, especially compared to other teams with similar viewerships. Seems like they negotiated that one a year or two too early and could have gotten a much better deal now vs. when it was originally done.

    99 cents per week for Sunday/Wednesday delivery (as other have said, great for coupons alone) plus full digital access is a bargain. Or if you have TW or another ISP that lets you, just change your IP address if you reach the limit and start over from zero. Takes just a few seconds. Google how to do it. Easiest way I've found is to just manually change the MAC address of your router and reboot everything. TW assigns you a nice new IP.

    yeah, stay away from floor, especially with the crazy prices for this PPV. i was able to get first row of the lower level, across from the hard camera.

    And those getting excited about the DB title win must not remember that this is the time of year Vince always plays around with new champions/angles and rarely sticks with them past the RR. Speaking of the WWE Network, that is going to fail big time and might bring down a big chunk of the company with it. I can see a lot of guys getting let go in 2012. No way it has enough clearances to have a successful launch in 4 months. They have no plan for it, and no idea how to get anyone beyond the (small) hardcore wrestling fanbase to want to pay for it.

    Yuck. Not really a desperate move because they've known about Braun for months now. Still don't like it because it's probably 3/40.

    Melvin has likely known about the Braun situation (and the likelihood of Braun being suspended) since October so I'm guessing the moves he's been making are already taking all of this into consideration.

    Players will almost always disappoint you in one way or another (PEDs, leaving for another team, having a dickish personality, etc...). That's why I root for the uniform, not the guys who wear them.

    Mark could spend a little more, take a small loss year-to-year, but you have to think the overall value of the franchise will increase more than enough to make up for it, especially if they are able to make more deep playoff runs (or a WS win obviously). When he sells the team he'll get that $ back.

    Any team not in the division getting Prince would be the best case scenario now. Funny how the holier-than-thou Cards fans are already turning on Albert, lol.

    And if they trade him they'll be asked to pay for a huge chunk of his salary most likely. Glad I went to every playoff game last year as it's going to be a long drought before the next one...

    The way they are doing it now is perfect. They can offer 2 versions of pretty much every piece of merch that the MLB licensees produce (since this is all about sales), and the current teams get their own identity rather than continuously reliving the past with those overrated ball-in-glove unis.

    Definitely. 2011 was the "go for it" year. 2012 will be the "maybe we get lucky cause we're still decent" year. 2013-2014 will be pretty lackluster teams most likely.

    They are getting ripped off then. You can get season tickets in the lower bowl for as low as around $28. People don't like to talk about it, but the league has the problem of having a "thug" image in the eyes of a big portion of the public. To be blunt, the average white person with money to afford tickets on a consistent basis isn't going to be attracted to the league. It doesn't help that a lot of arenas are in downtown areas that don't always have the best perception of being safe.
