  1. This win was great! Definitely one of the best of the year, but I still give that distinction to the second game of the Twins series. Maybe I am a bit biased as it was awesome seeing it live at Target Field.
  2. The reason I am not that high on him, is that he will either be a steal or a complete bust. I don't see any middle ground. Could he improve? He will for sure, and I hope it works out. It's just that the Bucks have not have had the best track record when it comes to developmental type selections in the draft.
  3. Tobias Harris? Ugh.
  4. I have been rooting for the Indians ever since they played at Miller Park back in 2007. It was a fun time to go to a baseball game for only $10 and all the Indians fans I talked to were great. So ever since then, I have been pulling for them, and hoped they did well.
  5. The lineup doesn't look too bad today, except that whole McGehee in the 5 spot thing.
  6. It is crazy how different Roberto Luongo's stats have been at home as opposed to on the road. Home 0.67 GAA .979 save percentage 95/97 Saves Away 8.05 GAA .773 save percentage 51/66 Saves I think he should start Game 7. But if something happens and VAN is down early, I could see Luongo getting pulled fairly quickly.
  7. It's official. Joba Chamberlain will be undergoing Tommy John surgery. http://sports.espn.go.com...lb/news/story?id=6649475
  8. 1. As you said, I believe you would have to raise ticket prices. We as fans may not like it, but if we want to keep Prince around, that is what we would have to do. 2. Trading flexible pieces around is also a must, and if it means being below average in RF or 3B for example, that is what's going to have to happen to keep Prince. 3. I think, that if the Brewers do decide to keep Prince for the long haul, that it means sacrificing starting pitching, particularly Marcum and Greinke. We may have to choose who we want to sign long term. Is this in the best interest of the club long term? I personally do not think so, as Starting Pitching is so hard to come by. Having great pitching will make you a contender year in and year out. Great offense is nice, but as we have seen, good pitching is what is needed to be a contender for the World Series.
  9. This definatly changes the series. I don't know if Vancouver excepted to meltdown quite like that, and be tied 2-2 going back home. If Luongo does start Game 5, I think he gets a quick hook if he gives up a few goals early.
  10. How soon could we expect either of these guys in Milwaukee? Is next year pushing it or no?
  11. 4 picks in, 4 pitchers selected. Shows you just how important pitching is, in getting a winning baseball club.
  12. It should be a good Game 3 tonight, as Boston will play with a bit more intensity down 2-0 on home ice.
  13. Seattle Mariners selected Danny Hultzen. A lot of rumors had him going to the Nationals.
  14. As much as I would love to see the DH be eliminated, that just isn't realistic. It is either going to stay the same way it is now, or the DH will be added in the NL. As others have said, the players union just won't accept losing the DH position.
