Well, I guess Wes O. didn't do too bad tonight.
  2. cirillo26
If Cirillo is 13-28 against Pettitte, why wasn't he in the starting lineup?
  3. cirillo26
Why does Phil Garner find it necessary to put a not so good hitter in the 3 slot. Yesterday it was Jose Vizaino, now today Luke Scott? I'm not complaining about it or anything, I just sort of find it odd.
  4. cirillo26
Eveland being able to bunt should actually grant him a start or two before this season ends.
  5. cirillo26
Is anyone else thinking about drafting J.J. Hardy a little early in their fantasy leagues next year?
  6. cirillo26
I agree 100%. Getting those teams out of the way just might be enough to give me a little hope. It is very exciting!
  7. cirillo26
Yet he has 3 Ks in 4 IP. That is a bit strange.

Why is it that the Crew can hit up Clemens, Maddux, Beckett, Burnett, and many other good quallity pitchers? But when it come to guys that aren't so good (Luke Hudson, Ramon Ortiz, that rookie from Pit., Brian Moeller, any LH finess pitcher) they all look like Cy Young award calliber pitchers.

I'm not quite saying that I'm jumping back on the wild card bandwagon, but today seems to be a pretty exciting day for those that are still hopeful.
  10. cirillo26
Clemens' ERA has jumped 0.21 tonight and is 0.22 away from 2.00!

Blyleven has been the number 1 snub on the ballot years (IMO). Many of his career number rank above many other HOFers. So he was short a few wins, big deal. I was hoping he would be brought to these threads.
  12. cirillo26
and the Brewers strand 2 more.
  13. cirillo26
edit: don't want to offend anyone
  14. cirillo26
Yeah, I hate Chad Moeller too. Wes Helms, Magruder, Arod, Jeter. My list goes on forever.
  15. cirillo26
Well, at least they finally found a way to advance runners. Too bad it didn't matter anyway.
  16. cirillo26
Hopefully the Brewers saw that. The Padres were able to get their lead off hitter on AND MOVE HIM OVER!!!!
  17. cirillo26
And now we'll be in a situation where Davis has to lead off the 3rd.
  18. cirillo26
If a triple play would have happened, we'd at least have our 4, 5, and 6 hitters due to lead off this inning.
  19. cirillo26
With the way Doug is pitching today we may see a whole lot of K's on both sides today.
  20. cirillo26
    KKK
  21. cirillo26
    The Milwau"K" Brewers.
  22. cirillo26
If Hall was at SS today and Weeks was at 2B, it would be the worst possible defensive lineup Yost could have possibly put together.
  23. cirillo26
I think that lineup looks pretty good. I'd maybe switch Hall and Miller just to put more speed in the 8 slot for the pitcher.
  24. cirillo26
What do you know, a lead-off single?
  25. cirillo26
Well at least we got one. That's about all this team can do with the bases loaded and nobody out.
