    If you think you need to "protect" a baseball team from sarcastic humor, I would suggest that you find a new hobby. I don't see what your beef is I am not protecting the team or anyone. Whether that was funny or not, there's not point except to make the people who are freaking out feel better. You must be one of them and I am sorry to hear that. I hope you make it through easter if they lose today. I know the pain this could cause. Thanks for worrying but I will be fine simply hoping for a brewer win and eating the feast with my family. Please do the same.

    Reading a post like jamie's only shows me that people on this board do not think baseball realistically and go from a complete high to jumping off the bridge from series to series. We are 2-3 and many of the posts and topics center around the universe crumbling and this team may never be back. I wish these people would just go away so people can actually talk baseball. There will be a time when we win 4-5 straight and these same people will be leading the charge and talking playoffs and blah blah. Get a hold of yourselves people and realize we faced some good pitching and some pretty good teams here. Never thought we could be 5 games in and read such garbage about the team already. Just unbelievable really. If a baseball game gets you that upset maybe you should find another hobby.

    Im fine we got out of the inning. But there are people who only post things as they are waiting for something bad to happen. What is the point? And when things go well, they bring up something that is not.

    I hope you didnt think I was blaming yost. I was simply responding to a previous post about negative posters. I am not sure how they watch brewer games seeing they get very angry and want yost fired after something bad happens. Saying Weeks is expendable is hilarious however. You want to put prince on the block as well. I guess they are getting old.

    There are plenty of people who basically just post negative crap followed by more crap. I just tune those people out. Every player cannot make any mistakes and must get hits every game. If they dont, yost is to blame.

    I thought that a couple games was no way to tell what you are going to get with a player. So you cant just take the last few at bats.. Thats what I was told at least.

    Just got back and couldnt wait to get back in here. Nice to see that Hart is going to start more now. Does he ever put the ball in play? Jenkins could do this but just from the other side of the plate.

    Edod, just so I was clear, I am not saying that they are winning the wild card. I was just saying its nice being on the board when they show the standings on tv. But it wont be much longer unless they make a little run. Either way, just because the NL is even doesnt mean anything. So now people makes up reasons why we are 4.5 out? Who cares, we are and that is that. Padres had the same chance to win in the playoffs as anyone else when they were only two games over 500. I dont get that point. More negative things to make everything seem worse than it is.

    Mike I would just like to tell you that it is refreshing to hear someone understand how long its been since even talking about being 4.5 out. Instead you get these people, whos only purpose to coming to this board (i guess) is to say how bad the team is, which players suck, and anything else that they dislike. It is old and you are very refreshing. But they are also the people who are first to say how great the team is when they are winning games and playing well. Its a great rollercoaster so hold on, you never know what will come out next. But thanks for your thoughts.

    Who cares how the games started, how long it took. His last 10 starts he has given up 3,3,6,4,1,7,2,3,0, and 3. With the cubs game aside, his only bad start was against the pirates and we had that huge lead in that one. I guess he was lucky in all those starts. But I think after awhile its a trend and not luck anymore. He doesnt throw hard so he has to nibble but when they do swing, he gets outs. You really need something to complain about if davis is where you start. Our bullpen really threw alot of games away (which will happen from time to time) and the starters have been pretty good for some time now. I guess we need shutouts or the pitcher sucks. You must really hate cappy lately then. Unbelievable. Sometimes you just need the offense to bail you out and it hasnt happened. But a pitcher is going to have bad days and doug is just like everyone else. But he has been good in most of his starts. I think you should stick to hockey, canada.

    Just reading the thread a bit I cant help but laugh at some people. I would have to say the winners tonight are Canada, Ciskie, and brett. All they do is complain about doug davis, over and over, but his last few outings have been really good. So no cluie what you are talking about. He gets in trouble but so did carpenter. So he sucks because he kept getting out of jams and gave up hits to the brewers? Your points are just useless and not even valid to what is going on? It gets better when you complain about Davis and how he should be taken out but then start complaining that Kolb is up in the bullpen. Do you have any clue what is going on? Just bring something to the converstaion besides negativity and just nonsense. Make a point that shows you are a fan and just dont need something to do on a friday night, which may be the case. Actually I think you could just write in blue the entire time seeing you never make any serious comment or anything that is positive. Turnbow sucks, davis sucks, mench sucks,,, Well they all did something to win the game tonight.
