Baseball mogul is a computer simulation. You can buy it at sportsmogul.com for 20 dollars but you dont need the game. You compete against 29 other gm's and you sign free agents, make trades, set lineups, release players, draft players, designate players for assignment and all that on the fourm. Than the simmer puts it in the game and he sims like 2 or 3 weeks every other day. Than you can evaluate the performances of your team and make changes. Players also get injured.

I was thinking with all the wonderful experts on brewerfan.net and lots of activity maybe we should start our own baseball mogul 08 league and see what person could take the challange and win the world series? In order for this to happen we would need 3 co-commish willing to help with the league, if you dont know what baseball mogul is, its a sim league where you compete against other gm's. You build your team making trades with other owners, signing free agents, 40 man roster, waiver wire, designating people for assignment and much more. Than we have a simmer you will enter in the stuff in the game and than the game gives you results like stats, minors stats and much more. Would anyone be intrested in doing this? Just for brewerfan.net members? If intrested reply here and we will see how many people we will get if you want more info or ask questions post here also. Offical Rules 1. Only one team per season. 2. Each world series winner will get something in return. 3. Features for the league will include Compensation Picks and Type A Free Agents. Luxury Tax Rule V Draft Contract Extensions Stadium Sponsers Foreign Free-Agency Waiver Wire 40-Man Roster Designating people for assignment Amateur Draft Looking for 3 Co-Commish's.

Did Sheets look at his finger before that inning he came out? I thought he did maybe if he did he made it more serious?
  16. brewers255
Latest from rotoworld.com updated around 9 pm. Ben Sheets left his start Saturday with a sprained middle finger on his pitching hand. He could undergo an MRI on Monday, depending on whether the injury is still bothering him. The big concern here is that he might have damaged a ligament in the finger, much like Joel Zumaya did. That could potentially be a season-ender for the right-hander. If it turns out that he just tweaked it, then he could avoid the disabled list. With his status uncertain for now, Yovani Gallardo needs to be owned in every format. Jul. 14 - 9:57 pm et

How long can you be out with a "desto" sprain. He most likley will miss some time since its his pitching hand and you need your middle finger the most.
  18. brewers255
is it a blister or could it be broken?
  19. brewers255
Intresting, how many gm's talk to 6 other gm's on a normal day? Maybe something will happen soon?

Hi, we're starting a brand new Baseball Mogul 2008 sim league and we'd like you to join us. The site will differ from many others by offering players a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the world of running a major league baseball team. With one of the worlds most accurate rosters, and tons of features such as the ability to create your own 40 man roster, participate in the Rule V draft, learn how designating players for assignment and options work, and to generally take the world of simulated General manager to another level. We're hoping that you'll join us in this rather unique league. To check us out or sign up, just follow this link http://www.twenty6ix.com/MLFO/viewtopic.php?t=10. Teams available: BOS, TOR, TBD, BAL, DET, CHW, CLE, KCR, OAK, PHI, WSH, CHC, STL, HOU, CIN, PIT, LAD, COL, SDP. Please post what team you want in the gm sign up thread. Also if you join please try and get active gm's sooner we fill faster we start. If you have any questions please contact CoreyEttinger on aim. Or you can send me a pm.
