  1. Now that Wisconsin handily beat Purdue, I don't think there is any doubt they are a 1 seed. Even if they lose to Michigan State...mathematically, they are far ahead of the 2 ACC teams...that's even counting the horrible loss to Rutgers..they overcame that loss, and then some. All the 'experts' can continue to show their ACC love, but I think they are wrong. Sure, Badgers lost to Duke, but Duke didn't win their conference and didn't make their conference final. Plus that loss was months ago. Virginia...meh. If they were a true 1 seed, they would have made their conference championship game. So, by my calculations, neither UVA OR Duke are 1 seeds. It goes Kentucky, Villanova, Wisconsin, Arizona. #2 line is Kansas (if they beat Iowa State), UVA, Duke and Gonzaga. If Kansas loses, they drop below Duke on the #2 line. That's my rant on the subject.
  2. Medeiros & Gatewood = Win Might as well just take Reid-Foley, Harrison, or Adams at 50 now.
  3. I like the pick. I don't care where the 'experts' ranked him...there was no way he was going to last until their second pick. Perhaps if they could've traded down, they would have. This is obviously the guy they wanted to be certain they got into the system.

  6. Orlando Arcia in the lineup for AZL Brewers tonight?!? Or is that just a mistake? Edit: Nevermind, it was a mistake. That was a very cruel joke milb.com.
  7. Not sure if this was posted elsewhere, but Victor Roache signed for $1,525,000. http://www.baseballamerica.com/blog/draft/2012/06/roache-brewers-agree-on-1-525-million/

  9. Hmmm.. Pill bugs or sow bugs perhaps? http://www.ca.uky.edu/entomology/entfacts/ef439.asp
  10. They don't have wings, correct? Are they just one color (greyish)? Can you pick out any other features...like do they have pincers in the front or anything on their back end? Have you seen any congregating anywhere other than the floor and the sink area (like they aren't up in your cupboards)? Are they like a solid oval or are their bodies segmented? Or are they more of a lightbulb-type shape (like a weevil)? Are you in Wisconsin? Has it been really dry where you live? They aren't termites, right? If they aren't springtails, Google the Strawberry Root Weevil (or possibly other types of weevils)...that'd be my best guess. Weevils are typically more active at night. Also: Do you have a garden or plants outside your kitchen? If so, take a look at the leaves. If the edges of the leaves are chewed, you probably have weevils nested nearby. They don't like hot/dry weather, so they might just be crawling through a tiny crack in your wall looking for relief in your kitchen.
  11. 1. Jungmann 2. Thornburg 3. Nelson 4. Bradley 5. Peralta 6. Schafer 7. Fiers 8. Morris 9. Gennett 10. Lopez 11. Rivera 12. Manzanillo 13. Ke. Davis 14. Gindl 15. Arcia 16. Bucci 17. Kh. 12. Simple bleach or vinegar might do the trick too. For best results, find where the bugs are nesting, take care of that area, and see if you can fix whatever is causing the excess moisture. Otherwise you might be spraying a few bugs here and there all summer. They do not live very long without moisture so maybe dry the area with a fan or see if you can take any corrective action on any excess moisture. If they are Springtails, they will jump like a flea if you get all up in their bizness. They are completely harmless though so no need to evacuate the premises.
  13. Buy a full coverage mattress cover...I think they might make some specifically for protecting against bed bugs...if not, find a vinyl cover. Leave the mattress cover on for at least a year after you move out. (Bed bugs can survive a year without feasting on your blood). Make sure the mattress cover remains fully sealed (any rips or holes need to be covered with duct tape). Wash and dry all your bedding on the highest setting the bedding can withstand. If you have to haul your stuff down a public hallway in your apartment complex, try to not allow any of your bedding, furniture, luggage, etc. to touch the floors. Thoroughly vacuum any furniture you are taking with you. Keep an eye on your luggage, boxes, clothing, etc. as you are moving to make sure there are not any bugs hitching a free ride. If so, vacuum/wash/etc. Keep your clothes, bedding, luggage, etc. off the floor and away from the walls to prevent the bugs from climbing aboard. Obviously not all of this may be required, but if you are ultra-paranoid...there ya go!
  14. My picks are the same as RobertR's above with the following exceptions: Best Actor: Jean Dujardin, The Artist Art Direction: Hugo Costume Design: The Artist (Jane Eyre very well could take this one.) Live Action Short Film: Time Freak (this should definitely be the winner, but it may not actually win because it is so similar to last year's winner, 'God of Love'. The Shore should probably win if Time Freak doesn't. P.S. watch Time Freak! It is my favorite movie of any this year!)
  15. Memory can go bad, but in your case, seeing how it is a 2005 computer, you probably just simply do not have enough memory to run everything you are installing. Some of our older computers at work have operated at 512Mb of memory for many years, but all the upgrades and updates over the past few years have rendered some of them useless until we up the memory. Just the nature of technology. 6 years ago, 256 Mb was sufficient enough to run most of our pcs. Now anything less than 1 Gb we are always hearing complaints about how slow they run.
