I can just see it. They put this pathetic lineup out there and we end up losing 10-2. Good start. Leadoff double.

Oh....my.... The Cards lineup has gotten worse each game. I think Larussa is seeing how far he can go and still win. Either that or he is being nice to Yost because he doesn't need the victory. If Ben doesn't go atleast 8 and give up less than 2 runs, wow. We have to win today. That lineup is pathetic.

For what it's worth(probably nothing), I have a good feeling about our offense and the game in general today.

I'm kind of sick of seeing Clark batting leadoff. When he isn't picking up hits like he hasn't been lately, he just isn't getting on. He'd be a good #2 hitter rather than a number one.

Although it may be a tall order, we need a stellar effort again today for Sheets. Something like 8 innings, 1 run, 10 K's. It's important that we perform well today to salvage the series and get a bit of positive momentum going into the Cincy series. Unfortunately, Suppan has had our number this year. He is 2-0 with a 2.33 ERA in 19.1 innings. Let's hope we buck the trend and pull out a much needed victory. GO CREW!

Well, atleast we all thought there was a good chance we'd lost tonight. Santos vs. Morris wasn't exactly promising. We got our two main guys going the next two days. If we can't win those, then we're in trouble.
