  1. Got hit in the face earlier this year by an errant line drive while COACHING during baseball practice. Got 20 stitches for my trouble after driving myself to the hospital. This was the day before a job interview. Needless to say, I did not get the job.
  2. Thanks for the information. I am hoping the Milwaukee Area would provide a much better place for my wife to get a job (she is in the human service field and has been a volunteer coordinator and worked with victims of domestic violence). Also, it will put me much closer to Miller Park which is a big pro, especially since I've recently lived in Marshfield and Oshkosh. Not to mention the fact that WFB HS is an amazing school and the position is pretty much a dream teaching job. If anyone else has any other info or advice about the schools or the area I would greatly appreciate it. Moose
  3. Hey everyone, I will be interviewing for a teaching job in the Whitefish Bay School District. I am wondering if anyone on here would have some information about the School District and the Whitefish Bay area other than what I have found on websites. Post here or shoot me a PM. Any and all assistance appreciated. Moose
  4. Allergies have started. Taking allergy pills and my eyes are so red I am worried that the interview committee I am meeting with in the morning will think I am high.
  5. Good to see Rickie tag a ball. Hopefully this will jumpstart him for the year.
  6. San Fran must be like St. Louis, where average ball players end up being extraordinary for a year or two. See: Ross, Cody; Huff, Aubrey; Cabrera, Melky
  7. Not a good send. Need to know the arms in the field. Average left fielder you're ok. Cabrera is an above average arm in left.
  8. Very excited to see Taylor Green get his chance. Let's get a win here and get back to Milwaukee with no more injuries.
  9. Last play looked like one of my old little league games.
  10. Applying for jobs and not knowing if I am actually qualified enough to have a chance at getting the job bugs me.
  11. I think the most I have ever sent is 2- for most I say that three is the maximum. If they don't want to sign all three they will either not sign or only send a few signed back. Hope this helps. Good Luck! I will be sending a few to Huntsville as well...all depending on who is assigned there. Especially Scooter Gennett or Khris Davis.
  12. I was just going to type the same thing as Brewers Super Collector. It may have just been Wisconsin that did not pass along mail. I have sent a few things to Wisconsin in the past and did not get them signed. Thornburg has signed a lot of stuff this ST. I would just sent to Huntsville where he is starting the season according to Twitter.
  13. Got brewer prospect Tyler Thornburg back on an '11 topps heritage minor league. bought a team set with the 10 brewers prospects to get signed this year.
  14. Got my Sunday 20-pack yesterday up in Oshkosh.
  15. I think this has to be a good deal. You all made excellent points regarding past stats. We also have to remember that Lucroy is only 25, the Brewers control his salary through his prime, and that two years ago he was in AA. If we can see similar improvement that Luc had from 2010-2011 he would be a playing hitting .275, with a .330 OBP. If he could walk a little more and K a little less he will be a great deal. Plus, he get down the squeeze bunt like no other. Time to get a Luc jersey!
  16. I have thought about doing that with the celebration picture, I just have not had the time, ambition or money to start it. I am also trying to finish projects of the living members of the 1962 and 1966 Packers teams.
  17. It is just the bad cell phone camera photo and the rig I have to send 11x14 photos. The photo is in a toploader with the front cut out so that the player doesn't have to take it out of the toploader. Just sign it and put it in the SASE. The top loader is attached to a piece of cardboard to protect it in the mail. The photo is a custom done by a photographer and memorabelia dealer in Marshfield. If anyone wants his info pm me.
  18. I think you need to use the IMG code from the album on photobucket. Not the slideshow. I just copy and pasted your link in. Your stuff looks awesome. I haven't have the time or money to frame any of mine yet. Here is my spring haul so far: http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/r523/rdmussack/2012-03-10_09-50-40_238.jpg http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/r523/rdmussack/2012-03-10_09-52-44_627.jpg http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/r523/rdmussack/2012-03-10_09-52-35_809-1.jpg http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/r523/rdmussack/2012-03-10_09-50-54_998-1.jpg http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/r523/rdmussack/2012-03-10_09-49-36_480-1.jpg
  19. Got Nyjer Morgan back 2/2 a few days ago. The Greinke was a great suprise. I am hoping to get the 11x14 that I sent to Axford back.
  20. Saw a tweet from Tom Haudricourt that Hart slipped while running to make Braun's press conference.....not quite as bad as salad tongs or a scissors while working on a glove. Didn't Wes Helms do the same thing (slip and mess up a knee) when the Brewers were playing the Expos in Puerto Rico?
  21. Dish doesn't have MLB Network (even though I was promised it when I signed my contract) so I am listening to the free webcast online. Can't wait until my contract is up and can switch to Time Warner.
