  1. I like Aoki, but can't argue with you. No reason not to give some more playing time to Khris Davis in left, and put Logan Schafer in right, because Aoki's not doing much this year.
  2. This happens to Thornburg every outing. The guy needs to learn to at least go through 7. He's not going to get a win going 5 or 6. They could have just as easily walked three to start off the eighth inning. Our bullpen is just not dependable.
  3. Nice play by Scooter coming in all the way from shallow right field. Can our offense muster up a run here, or will they go to sleep?
  4. Would have been nice to put another run or two on the board, but Ron likes to run us out of innings too much.
  5. Sorry, Tyler. You deserve better. Rick Kranitz can get the hell out of Milwaukee. I'm so done with him.
  6. I keep pulling for the guy to turn it around, and he just can't do it. He is incapable of pitching well in a pressure situation. Man, do we need a double play ball here. Please!!
  7. Now Burke Badenhop. "Quick show of hands in the bullpen. Who here can throw strikes?"
  8. Good God. Three straight walks. Tyler Thornburg's start is going to get wasted if we're not careful.
  9. Come on, Ax. You can do this. Positive thoughts coming your way.
  10. Great, walk the first two guys you see. Way to earn your paycheck.
  11. Roenicke runs us out of more scoring opportunities than any other manager I've seen in Milwaukee. Hey, 1 out, and a guy that is getting thrown out 40% of the time. One of our best hitter at the plate. I know, let's steal and get the base runner out of Luc's way. Good lord.
  12. Somebody shoot me. Tom Grieve is the worst baseball broadcaster in the Major Leagues. He's sooooo boring.
  13. Tyler is doing a hell of a job tonight. The Rangers are 4th in baseball in slg pct, 8th in average, and 12th in runs. They are a good offensive team, and Mr. Thornburg is dealing tonight. He's now at a 1.69 ERA in 37.1 innings pitched this season.
  14. Francisco, since coming to Milwaukee, has 12 HR and 29 RBI in 171 at bats. You know what, guys? Let's call Cecil Cooper, give him $100,000 to spend the entire offseason working exclusively with Francisco on his defense. Because if we can get him to be even an average defender, we've got something. This guy can just destroy the baseball. 56 games is about 35% of the season. Projected over 162 games, he'd hit 34 home runs.
  15. Boom goes Juanfran x 2! No doubt about it, that's a strong man. I said he needed to make up for not digging out that throw from Scooter. He has more than made up for it. Wow! Brewers bringing the long ball this two game series. Five and counting.
  16. Pierzynski is not a very smart baseball player. The Rangers had a nice inning going, but that wide turn at right ended it. And that stupid rundown last night allowed Segura to score.
  17. Segura ran us out of a nice inning going for third. Do the Brewer coaches not scout teams? They got burned running on Martin last night, they get burned running on him again tonight. Maybe they should stop doing that?
  18. He's got 4 homers in 67 at bats now. He won't get to double digits because he won't get enough at bats. But I think your initial instincts were right. I think he could definitely hit 10 + home runs a season.
  19. In 28 games since being called up to the Majors, Scooter Gennett's stats: .284 AVG 19 hits in 67 ABs 2 doubles, 2 triples, 4 home runs. 9 runs, 11 RBI. Slash line of .324/.552/.876. Now, I don't expect Scooter's SLG to stay where it is, but is it possible that a lot of people sold Scooter's potential a little short? The guy is never going to be a 30 home run hitter. He might never hit 20. But the "Scooter can't hit", or "Scooter is a bad hitter" posts made earlier. Have some of you maybe changed your minds a little bit? That first home run he hit to the upper deck at the Ballpark in Arlington was a bomb. He's got the extra base pop. He also showed good quickness defensively in tonight's game.
  20. Rangers broadcasters taking some pot shots at Scooter. He destroyed your World Series hopeful tonight, Texas. Shut it.
  21. Segura with a great play at short. He's starting to catch fire again. Woo hoo! Brewers win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can watch the replay on the Roku, and see Scooter and Khris's homers!
