Yeah I'm not sure what the definition of "looks healthy" is but I don't share the view that Braun "looks it." I can't complain about the rule or the call since I've personally wanted the "in the general vicinity" of the base allowance eliminated for a long time. I think baseball has to make replay decisions by teams on a dugout judgement only. No more of this manager to the top step waiting for a guy on the phone to decide if there's evidence to review or not. Either YOU see it differently than the umpire or you don't. Glad you got over there. I stopped in there on Tuesday, he said he would know on Wednesday if they were going to stay open. I haven't checked in since. I just wanted to give collectors a heads up that a local card shop is closing next Friday because of the Owner's health. The gentleman manning the store is taking 50% offers on high dollar items like Favre autos and they have bobble heads going 4 for $20. Definitely worth giving them a call. It would be a difficult decision but if Brauns' trade value is sky high at the deadline I can't see how a rebuilding team with so many holes could just deny the potential return. Can't forget Braun is in his age 33 year, he's not part of the future.
