  1. As far as I'm concerned Hardy may still be a hit with the female fans, but personally I can't wait till Escobar is big league ready. JJ is destined to be known as that "hottie" that all the women liked and nothing more. http://static.flickr.com/61/202902324_da0c803381_o.jpg Dude instead of bar hoping, work on hitting something other then a fastball up and in.
  2. On Fridays at home, they were 5-8 both in 2006 and 2007. This year so far, the record is 1-1. Edit: I just remembered, in 2006 didn't they wear the retros on Sundays at home? That record is 6-7. Yup Sunday's in 2006 so: 2006: 6-7 2007: 5-8 2008: 0-1 Total: 11-16 Still bad, but not as bad as I thought. Still need to get rid of those things.
  3. He did also mention that Weaver would probably get a chance as well. Just a matter of getting him another start or two down in AAA to get him extended so he is able to pitch deep into ball games. I'm actually looking forward to Weaver getting a shot because although he was awful last season in Seattle he was pretty darn good in 2004 and 2005 in LA and in 2006 while in St. Louis. I just think he is worth the chance since no one else other then Sheets has done squat anyway.
  4. There is a reason he is still batting leadoff. I really think it is just Ned's hard headed approach to switch things up. And becaise Rickie is a "run scorer".
  5. Does anyone know or willing to research the Brewers record sine 2006 when they starting wearing the retro uni's? I know it's bad.
  6. Ha, nice Pedro I tend to agree with that and like it.
  7. Manny please pitch into the 7th and offense score him some runs early.
  8. Right now, I'm mainly rating W/L. And if you go by that Ned's W/L record in this his 6th season as a Manager is 390-453. I agree with you Pedro.
  9. I'm wrapping up my Associates Degree in a week for Broadcast Journalism. Right now I work part-time at a radio station and part-time as a IT guy. Looking to get a full-time radio gig or a full-time job doing something pays well in an office setting.
  10. I to am superstitious and since it's Friday and they are wearing the 82's retro uni's I'm really fearing loss 7 in a row. They don't seem to play very well wearing that hat and those jersey's. Prove me wrong guys.
  11. Perfectly said. I to am sick of 1982. It was awesome and the best year in franchise history, but at some point it needs to be let go.
  12. That would be okay to me as well.
  13. He's my choice unless Simmons stays around after Yost gets canned, then he would also be an option.
  14. I agree, but Yost has had much more to work with and little success save for a .500 season and missing the post season by 2 games last year.
  15. Rickie Weeks leading off continues to piss me off. Come on Ned, put Rickie at 6 or 7 and bat Corey 1st.
  16. I'm for the first time gonna say it and let the cat out of the bag: "FIRE NED YOST!" I'm somewhat venting here but this is the Yost thread so it should be okay. Im sick of this garbage play on the field and someone must be accountable. I just have no faith we will ever win anything with him as the leader. Mark A and Doug let him go, and soon.
  17. I doubt Weaver could do worse then Villy did tonight. And if so, oh well doesn't hurt to try.
  18. And we get to play St. Louis (leads our division and has owned us), LA (won like 10 out of 11) and Boston (best team in baseball) next! Yes!
  19. 2008 Milwaukee Brewers: Stranding runners, it's the way we play.
  20. Oh my God, Villanueva with 2 hits. Wow, and we have a run.
  21. 3-0, were not out of it. But I sense 6 games in a row here. Yuck.
  22. Well that has pretty much been par for the course this season for the Crew. Load the bases with less then 2 outs and score zero runs.
  23. Ah they can fire him to I could care less.
